I dunno if we want to count this since it is the game and all, but the game apparently added a new gauge on the dashboard that appears to read the Mr. Fusion level. So maybe this could be worked into the BTTF2/3 DeLorean? I dunno.

Well, Zemeckis is busy with other projects as well. Like for example his version of Wizard of Oz.Wait, what?

Failtastic, during the cutscene when Marty takes the DeLorean to 1931, anyoneelse notice that the time circuit control switch was in the OFF posiiton.Just saying.
Yeah, it was in the off position when Marty went to 1955. Also, anyone else ever comment on the fact that the time circuits seem to switch off after time travel? Both when Einstein arrives after the first test and in the game when the DeLorean arrives, the time circuits have to be turned on, even though they had to have just been on in order to time travel.
And yes, there are probably a lot of copyrights that a small company like TellTale couldn't get: Nike, Adidas, Pepsi, J.C. Penney, whatever that other shop is in the mall, and whatever tires the DeLorean has. I think we should count ourselves lucky that the DeLorean has DMC on it. lol
Oh, and it probably takes the time circuits a little longer to update because of the short. Doc'll have to fix that again. As for the steam...geez, I hate explaining this. It's the same reason the DeLorean didn't ice up as much after that first time travel. It has nothing to do with the in-movie canon and everything to do with special effects budgeting. That's it. If they could've had the vents fire every time, and iced up the DeLorean every time, they probably would have.

My score wasn't serious. my official verdict is 8/10-1 choppy animation
-1 for some return gags that didn't really fit.
Overall the animation was good. But there were a couple moments where it felt stiff and rushed.
As for the gags:
Kid Tannen steps in manure when there were no horses around and crashes into a manure truck in the middle of a field (which still confuses me).
Overall this game is one of the view movie-licensed games that really sticks to the original material and makes a good game out of it.
I don't think it was cow manure that Kid stepped in. He probably stepped in Einie leavings.
As for the manure truck in the field? Easy. Where do you think old man Jones gets it?
I give the game, as of RIGHT THIS MOMENT, a 8/10. To explain, that is mostly graphical. Choppy animation, not very smooth at all. However! That's based on my PC version that isn't very good. I expect it to be much better on my PS3 next year. I hate the cliffhanger only because it's gonna be two months before episode 2. However, it was a very BttF cliffhanger. And I felt bad for young Emmett, though I was glad to hear his dad ranting and mentioning the Von Brauns.
-
Then it wouldn't be BttF. Really now, it's seen very little in the first movie until the climax.

Again, people assume that 2015 wasn't changing around Marty, Doc, and Jennifer. It was, we just didn't notice it because by the time time started changing, they weren't able to see the McFlys fading out because they didn't live there any more.
-
DK, from what I gathered, Doc learned about the DeLorean at a later date, went back in order to pick it up as early as possible, as well as to prevent Griff from getting his hands on it.
And I don't get why people don't like this explanation. It's well within the realm of possibility in a fictional time travel movie. Plus, the lightning bolt was referred to give the car a "gigawatt overload" so duplication isn't out of the question. And since the car was sent 70 years both backwards and forwards, there's a kind of symmetry there. Also, yes it would have had the damaged time circuits, but it was in the year 2025 now. Probably way easier and cheaper to repair the time circuits there than in 1885.

This game is really the best BTTF game we could have. You know, as far as games that aren't fan-made mods go. It's certainly a great deal better than the NES BttF game, but then, a kick in the nuts and having crap shoved up your nose would be better than that old piece of crap.

Don't read this if you don't like spoilers!SPOILER:So Marty started disappearing. Anyone wanna throw out a guess why?If I'm even close to right, I'll be laughing as hard as I was when I was right about the DeLorean.SPOILER:His grandfather testifies against Kid Tannen because of the subpoena, Kid Tannen kills him. Also, apparently there's going to be a part where he goes after Jennifer's grandfather as well since an officer Parker arrested Tannen. -
hummmm according to Dragon King's "spoiler", that means there is also a duplicated Marty.....right?Wrong DeLorean there Jay. It was the 1955 DeLorean that was hovering and got struck by lightning, so if the driver got duplicated, it would be a duplicate Doc. What's hilarious about this explanation is that over on the Telltale Forums, there was a HUGE ongoing debate about the DeLorean's origins, and I just happened to post "Well, maybe Doc found a way to create a temporal duplicate of some kind!" And that was the day before the game was released. So when that option came up, I was just astounded.

Well, from a business standpoint, it makes sense. There are probably a good percentage of people who haven't pre-ordered but have the free episode. That's a good percentage that they won't get any money off of.
That said, I went ahead and preordered and will probably buy the games again on PS3 when it comes out there. Crazy? Why yes, yes I am.
-
No prob.
BTW Carlos, are you gonna leave the exhaust in even though the actual BTTF version of the DeLorean didn't seem to have them?
-
I need a time machine so I can go to next week.
-
Looks good to me. I like Doc's pacing in the cell, definitely a very Doc thing to do.
-
It would make sense.
-
If they did the same thing that Gran Turismo 5 did, then it's probably based on the current production DMC-12s, giving it the original horsepower that the original specs were supposed to be.
-
-
"Realistic" maybe, but it doesn't look like the BTTF fire trails, and there shouldn't be tire tracks anyways there.
-
@Dave27 No, Doc wouldn't be Emmett Von Braun in 1931. Doc's father changed the family name during World War I, which was fought from 1914 to 1918. I know, I checked.
-
From what I can understand, both. After all five episodes are released, they'll put all of them either on DVD or something.
-
Does this mod have Christopher Lloyd or the approval of Bob Gale? No? Didn't think so. I really see no reason to badmouth the game, it looks to be the only really good BTTF game ever(not counting the mod).
-
Who said Doc is 65? They never really say his age...
-
I wouldn't say it's encroaching on anybody's territory. The BTTF: HV mod is completely different from the BTTF game. The HV mod is, by the necessity of the game it's built around, more about the vehicles, the mechanics, the more physical side of Back to the Future. BTTF: The Game is centered more around characters and story.

Only reason I'd want cheats anyways is to spawn certain cars, so losing that ability is okay.

Even if it's technically supposed to be the BTTF2 DeLorean?
Kidding of course, it's understandable Carlos.
