and do you really know if the neon actually stops working in such conditions, are are you assuming, "oh, so much vibration. They must have broken"
-
Even in that shot the coils weren't on, otherwise you'd see the reflection off the stainless steel.
-
right mr. delorean expert. I'm sure you know so much about it.
-
-
haha, they forgot to turn on the coils

And the plasma flames were real, not added in digitally.
-
no...
btw, thats the pre-touchup clip. outatime.it uses the touched up version. And those flames have not been altered by ilm i believe. The only ilm thing here was the wormhole and sparks.
-
well, actually, it was never in bttf2 because the delorean never traveled on land in that movie.
So theres only bttf1 and bttf3
-
reminds me, I actually need to scale the bttf wheels to the actual sizes, that way I can actually use vehicles.ide to give the right wheel hieght. The front wheels are kinda floating right now.
-
you can even see it in the bttf1 shots that it didn't come from the tire either.
It actually was a real one too so they had to stick it in the wheel well. If you look at the movie cars, you'd also notice that they had heat shields on the bottom to protect the delorean from those flames.
-
they're actually not done yet, lol
-
completely white...
so its not the color.
-
this is at 100% alpha. Was using 50% alpha. Not much difference.
-
aha, it was the alpha
-
lol, the color's already 255,255,128
I'm going to increase the blue to see what happens. I just turned it to 255, and it was bright at night. Just....the day's brighter xD
-
even vc style plasma trails isn't that great at night
-
no...
-
a bit, lol
-
Ok, here we go. Plasma trails day and night with the new coils
-
hey, it looks real...since it was real, lol
-
you wanna know mine?
1 a piece
-
hahaha...ha....
trying to make gta look like crysis........

precisely. I never had GTA:SA crash on me for any reason other then wrong coding.
VC's getting the occasional crash on startup and occasional one on conversion and once from model loading errors from the city itself, not the mod
-
RenderWare engine, to be precise. It's one of the most common type of engines used by game developers other than R*.SA ain't harder to mod than VC, just that there are more modding possibilities, and it takes a lot of time to mod it. Speaking of which, I really don't know why people consider stuff that takes long to do as being hard when it really isn't.
True. Sims 3 and Burnout do use it.
-
Welcome Back Mr Blue and vc because its easier to modActually I'm finding SA to be easier to mod.

true, they do. Well, I don't know. It could be that or something as simple as they didn't have it originally in the cue. What are we arguing about again?
