The original creator was moodog for Midtown... then a guy named Silver007 converted it to GTA VC. Who in turn gave Carlos permission to use it and upgrade it for the mod.

knightprowl, the reason you ask for permission is so whoever made it is aware of it's intended use and if they're ok with it. It's out of respect for someone who used their free time to give the people of the modding community something nice. You don't have to... But it makes you a douche and an untrustworthy ass if you don't.

Interesting fact, I can't remember where I read it, but it was said that a past GTA Character will being working alongside you for a few missions.

We don't see the main character.. but he sound like Tommy Vercetti... And the fact that the deleted Introduction to San Andreas mentions Tommy moving to San Andreas... I think it's a possibility it could be him. However, he was voiced by Ray Liotta (GoodFellas) in Vice City and he did it for the money... I don't know if he'd voice him again... But they sound similar.
And I said based in Los Santso AND THE SURROUNDING REGIONS THAT APPEARED IN SAN ANDREAS

I can't wait now, lol.. I'm a little disappointed in the city... San Andreas was literally just before Grand Theft Auto 4... I would have found it better for it to be Vice City..

What are your computer's specs, if I may ask?I play a lot of older games that can't run well on Windows 7 AT ALL. So XP is my preferred choice. Since XP needs only 512 MB of ram to run, that leaves 2.5 GBs of RAM for my programs. Unlike just 2GBs when some programs liek GTA IV require 2.5. plus XP has DirectSound with MIDI support and has it's own option. Which was removed in Vista and 7 so games like Oregon Trail or the PC version of Final Fantasy 7 can't play sound without a 3rd party program.
My system:
3 GBs Ram
Intel Core2Duo 3.0 GHZ
1TB HDD
Nvidia Geforce 9800GT

That's because XP is the most reliable. I'm downgrading from Windows 7 to XP soon.. I really like XP over 7.
