  1. I'm going for SA, purely for the simple reason that driving is a LOT more fun in SA. None of the cars are really jerky like VC which makes playing with a keyboard for me a nightmare.

On a completely off-topic thought, I'm suprised nobody turned the Hydra on SA into the Pelican drop ship from the Halo series. There is a Master Chief outfit and a Warthog but no Pelican.

  2. It all depends, PCs will cost a bit more in the long run if you are planning to play games. ( Monthly subscription fees, expansion packs, etc. ) You have to make sure the game you buy for your PC will work as opposed to a console on which the game you paid the same money as everyone else for will work just as good as everyone else. Not to mention most stores don't accept returns on PC games. So if you buy a game and it doesn't run on your computer, you are SOL. Not to mention viruses and conflicting programs and compatibility.

Overall. If you are just getting the computer to play games, save yourself the hassle and get a 360. That is after all their MAIN FUNCTION. To PLAY GAMES. I bought a new 360 back in July ( New as in brand new, not another 360 to replace a dead one ) and I haven't had ANY problems whatsoever with mine. Just make sure you take care of it and have proper ventilation and it should be fine.

    P.S. a 360 + games WILL NOT cost $700

When I bought mine, I bought the 360 which was $300 new at the time, 1600 Microsoft Points which was $20, 3 games ( combined it was $85 ) a controller charger ( $15 ) and a year of Xbox Live ( $50 ) The trick? Buy USED games and accessories ( EXCEPT CONTROLLERS!! NEVER BUY USED CONTROLLERS )

Total, $470. Cost of the POS video card I have just to get most games to run? $80

  3. If we actually could get the mod to run on Xbox, controls wouldn't be a problem since the Xbox Version of Vice City actually uses the triggers ( The PC version doesn't recognize them or the Analog sticks but the left analog stick moves Tommy w/o setting controls anyway ) so thats an extra 2 buttons + the right analog stick you have. I'm using a 360 controller, and the only thing I can't do is use the Horn, change views, and change the way tommy is facing since that is controlled via mouse.

  4. I have a 8400 GS PCI-E, I bought it for $46 including S&H and tax. Suggest a cheaper one? And how come statler's card can't handle GTA IV?

I have the exact same card as Statler. You'll be lucky to run anything newer than a title from 2004.

  5. The BTTF2 and the DMC-13 for flying. The BTTF2 handles perfect for driving, but looks a tad odd when flying ( still badass looking though ). The DMC-13 on the other hand looks right in flying mode. Most likely due to caps over the wheels. ( Reminds me of Dallas 13's car from Vigilante 8:2nd Offence ) In driving mode though, it is just too responsive, and the wheels being a lot closer together than the DMC-12 makes it look un-attracive.
