  1. Speaking of the disaster @ Japan, I'm getting sick with people making up conspiracy theories about what happened like the HAARP being responsible for the disaster (which is likely false 'cuz you'd wonder how the Japanese were expecting the earthquake in the first place -- it's just that they didn't expect it to be that strong). Instead of all these blaming and theorizing, they should be doing something better, like helping out?

My condolences again to those affected in the disaster.

  2. I really think you and trance should join up and make an add on.

I like it Carlos. Thats a pretty good idea actually Kocher.

Carlos, do you have windows live messenger or AIM or ICQ or anything? Lets hook up and put this together. I like the way it looks. Surprised how easily all this stuff ports over actually. I wasn't planning on releasing anything anytime soon, but we can still put it in our own games ;)

Can I also know, too? I'm also interested in helping you out.

  3. Tried Googling your new lappie. Looks good. The perfect rig for me. The one with the Radeon 6370 costs around 42 Philippine pesos, a few thousands cheaper than my current Radeon 5650 Lenovo (I however blame that to the Core i7 processor and the 8 GB RAM).

  4. Speaking of which, I am planning to buy Blu-Rays of the trilogy this weak. Just had the cash and player for it. Can't wait.

You have to reformat the external to NTFS. Fat32 can't transfer a single file bigger than 4GB.

I know. As a matter of fact, I rarely use FAT32. The "4GB" thing is just an approximate. What I was saying is that when processing files for long like storing large files, my hard drive begin to screw up like slowing down or something. Obviously damaged, most likely from my brother dropping the poor drive several times in a row. <_<

Well anyway, it's no longer readable and I already have a replacement drive for it (which is thrice larger, about 1TB). I still need to fix the HDD up though. I NEED those files.

  5. no not at all, in fact I have an addictive personality. So I keep my self away from them because I don't want to have to depend on an online game for entertainment.

Accurately speaking, it's a game bought online. There's rarely any modern game that doesn't have multi-player, so "online game" nowadays would be preferring to multi-player only or massive multi-player games. So far, the multi-player mode of Minecraft is far from half-finished. :P

This stolen Minecraft account scenario is nothing too different from a Steam account getting hacked along with your bucks worth of games...except Minecraft is just one game and it can be fixed by saving a more secured password. I say this is nothing worse than Steam.

  6. @Mini-Me: Last time I tried it, my PC couldn't really handle it, dunno about now though. Maybe I'll try it again in a couple of days.

I can imagine Minecraft not also running smoothly in your PC, knowing each of the randomly generated worlds is more than twice larger than San Andreas.

mines for classic so who cares if it does get hacked.

    Same here.

maybe you guys will finally stop playing :D :D :D

You just paid $20 at most with your account. Better to just change the password and continue playing a surprisingly cheap awesome game.

  7. One of the worst news ever.

We can't blame Mother Nature though. We can only make up for the damage she has done through sympathy and the willingness to help ourselves adapt to such disasters.

As a humanist as well, I say don't just "pray" for the poor. I say, if possible, we should give aid to those affected.

  8. It would be nice if you merge it in a way that it won't look like 3 movies merged at all but 1 huge/5-hour long movie. E.G. The ending scenes of BTTF1 and BTTF2 are replaced with that of the beginning scenes of the following movie, and then if possible the title/intro scenes are removed.

I've always wanted to do this, but lately my external HDD's a b*tch when it comes to files of 4 GB or bigger. I'm glad I have backed-up the trilogy, though. The original CDs were badly scratched.

  9. DAMN. My laptop's ATI Radeon 5650 HD and Core i7 can run GTA4 and Crysis on all on high, but with some intolerable lag...and heat.

But this is pretty alright for me, in fact more than enough. Since I'm always "on the move" these days where a capable laptop would very important, I'm not planning to own a real gaming desktop anytime soon. I bought this laptop more for my college major, game design. DigiPen Institute game projects like Igneous and Attack of the 50ft Robot made me think that my old HP laptop won't be able to handle my future game projects.

I'm planning to grab Crysis 2 after playing Crysis and Crysis: Warhead. Same goes for Dead Space 2 after playing 1. I've missed a lot when I was stuck with my old games and low-end PCs, and I'm currently catching up. I however already played COD: Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops, though, with my temporary gaming mini-PC I upgraded for my dad.
