  1. Looked Kind of like Freddy Krugers Claws

Freddy's claws are longer. And they didn't base it from something else outside Star Wars. Those claws had a purpose which I'm not sure of what it is -- either a way to cling on a wall or ceiling, or Darth Sidious' way of symbolizing fear (along with the rest of the suit; the suit after all is "bonded" unto Starkiller's flesh), or a vital part of the Sith Stalker's armor.

  2. True. The Aspyr company was never used to console-to-PC porting anyway (TFU might be their first attempt). They specialize more on porting PC games to the Mac.

Speaking of which, just found out Aspyr released a 1.1 patch. Hopefully, this would boost up my TFU.

  3. @DK: And I thought it was literally "kicking your own a**".

Strange how in the game Starkiller would hold the blue lightsaber with the same backhand style (Form V), while in the comic he had it "fronthand".

Has any of you Star Wars fans, especially those who have played (and finished) TFU, seen this?

At first, I thought it was fake, until I saw the advanced graphics and heard dialogues from Yoda and Vader that I've never heard of before in the games and the movies.

  4. Why would anyone really want to lie to their children about anything? Does this not teach them that not even we as parents are trustworthy? Then as they grow older and we try to tell them the truth about other things FAR more important they automatically distrust us. I have never told my children any lies and now as teenagers people ask how I am able to control their decisions so easily. I truly think it is because they trust me not to lie to them at all based on my honesty throughout their lives.

So that everyone knows, Santa is not real within my household. The truth is just as great. Jesus makes sure that my children get their presents and he is much more magical than the fairy tale.

Do you guys have something to say about this Dragonfly dude's comment?

  5. Saint Nicholas because in I believe the 1400s or 14th century (don't know if it's either of them)

Now I remember how I believed in Santa Claus lol. Same here.

As a kid back then, I was always a "truth hunter" -- I loved hunting for the truth behind myths and stuff of the like, as well as making up stuff about them (until now lol). Although, despite that, I would fall for the superstitions my superstition-believing parents taught me, until I reached the age of 10 when I became an agnostic (Christian), who wouldn't believe on a thing as being true or false unless there's visible evidence.

Ignoring the superstitions they taught which weren't technically lies since they believed on them too lol, my parents never told me any fairy tale-based lie. (In case you're wondering, no, I no longer believe on superstition sh*t)

  6. The way it was brought to the viewer is epic, after 3 minutes you lose the borderline between reality and CG.

Unless you're used to CG stuff, like if you play heavy games often (at high graphic settings) or something like that, and the CG scenes are all entirely or mostly CG, then you'll be able to tell still if it is CG. :P Sometimes it helps in making the (professionally-done) CG stuff look real if most of the scene is made up of real stuff, like Transformers.

  7. My cousin once thought it's a movie version of the anime Avatar (The Last Airbender), despite how many times I tried convincing him it is not, and man was he disappointed when he started watching it and was proven otherwise.

Avatar is an awesome movie. I recommend you sci-fi fans or lovers to watch it.

  8. I agree on that! I have it 2, it does sucks. Tip: Use Gimp! That one works much better and is easy to learn ;)

The missing tools of Paint are still there, just hidden and that hard to find. And of course, why would I not have GIMP? :P GIMP would be second most used image tools (first being Paint and third being Photoshop). I currently have GIMP 2.6.

I also have Photoshop CS4 and Illustrator CS4.

  9. Um, aren't you?

Just a fan. Never a fanboy. "Fan" and "Fanboy" are two different things, mind you.

As for the sig, I never really made it because I'm a Sonic fan (if it was indeed the reason, I would have chosen Sonic over the black hedgehog in my sig instead). The reason why I chose this sig among other sigs I have or made because it both reminds me of the time(s) when I as a Sonic fan felt so hopeful that Sega is going to the right direction in their attempt to transit the Sonic games to 3D with their potentially good ideas (the black hedgehog Shadow in my sig), and most of all the f*ck-ups Sega has done so far (the gun in Shadow's hand). In short, I'm a disappointed Sonic fan, so I chose this sig.

Now you know the meaning of my signature. :P

My other sigs: (not all of them)

  10. I remember my dad bought the iPhone and got disappointed on how it ended up like. I'm guessing it's one of those crap ones from Canada.

Here in the Philippines, we can use the iPhone pretty much like the rest. We can have it on any network provider we wish. "Prepaid cellphone loading" is very common here (or the standard of cellphone networking by the looks of it) and fortunately the iPhone works just fine for that.

  11. Based on my understanding of the whole Nth Dimension concept, I believe the Nth Dimension differs for every travel. Erroneous data in such complex circuitry, I believe, wouldn't always be the same or wouldn't cause the wormhole to distort space-time exactly the same way every time, so everytime you travel, it's an entirely different Nth Dimension.

Sending a DeLorean to the Nth Dimension in RC, for instance, would mean losing it forever. Even if you managed to travel to the same date to the Nth Dimension, you won't be able to "rescue" it because you've technically sent yourself in a different Nth Dimension. It would be like making "1a2b3c4d5e6f7g" appear in the right order in a random number-letter generator -- you have a one in a zillion chance of retrieving it.

In the modder's perspective, the code-wise explanation for this would be pretty simple. :P

This reminds me of the "Nth Dimension travel" feature I want to suggest for the '04/DMC13 DeLorean. I figured Doc found out how a broken DeLorean ends up in such a reality. Eccentrically, he must've taken this further to being more than just research and somehow unlocked new ways of wormhole-based traveling other than time travel. ;)

  12. Just wanna add these:

    1. In in-universe terms, the Nth Dimension I think is a sort of twisted version of (BTTF's) reality, a result of a broken time circuits sending data to the Flux Capacitor, causing the FC to create a wormhole that distorts space-time so much you'll end up in this reality. In modder's terms, it's a random weather code went wrong and turned to a cool non-canon mod feature. :P

    2. The Clocktower reenactment works with RC, too. ;)

  13. That never occurred to me either. Probably another type of lag-based glitch or something, I dunno.

Be happy it's not sucking everything around you in :P

It shouldn't and it can't. Remember the time when I said that blue thing ain't the wormhole but a sort of spacetime-ripping blue plasma sh*t, and real wormholes don't emit color or light? :P

This makes me wonder, where does the air go when DeLorean re-enters?

If you're talking about the air being sucked in along with the DeLorean by the implosion, refer to what SaiyanPrideFilms. If you're talking about the air where the DeLorean would re-appear, it would be "pushed away" by the re-entry explosions to give way for the DeLorean.

  14. @RG: I need an element that, per se, would be a good competitor to fire. Fire can overheat or well, what did you expect from an inverse square law? Metal's a** anyday. Electricity, however, could be a sort of improved or "evolved" version of Fire, but I'm having second thoughts whether the name "Mozilla Electricdragon" is a cool browser name.

These are the names I thought of so far:

    Chilidog

Astigfox ("Astig" in Filipino means "cool and unique" or just "cool")

    Phoenix Ultima

    Warhound

    Bullfire

    Bullf*ck

    Icebird

    Voidhax

    Soundowl

    Lightbird

    Lightchicken

    Earthsnake

    Lotsalols

I'm also having thoughts that I no longer need an element prefix name, for the fact that dragons are known to "rule" all possible elements of nature (fire, water, earth, air, electricity, metal, wood, light, darkness, void (spacetime), etc.). How about Mozilla Dragoon? Epicdragon? Sundragon?

  15. I decided to use the term "Dragon", having recalled the whole at the time manipulation power topic. But I haven't thought of an element name for it (fire / water / earth / wind / electricity / metal / wood / etc.). It should be something that presents superiority or god power.

Looks too much like Google Chrome for me to like

This is not the default look of the Strata40 theme I'm using.
