  1. I smell a very large angelo's answer...

    ROFL

There are many things you can think of how the Flux Capacitor works. It's Sci-Fi after all.

In my own belief (I'll make this as brief as possible lol), the Flux Capacitor is some kind of converter that turns (1.21 gigawatts of) electricity to some blue plasma sh*t that, if dense enough, can rip through space-time and create a wormhole. This blue plasma I'm talking about is the blue stuff the wormhole emitter projects to its front to time travel (and the thing you guys so call "wormhole" in the mod).

And this sounds like a new good idea for a feature: how about a killer (literally-speaking) wormhole for the mod? lol

  2. I've been working on this for a while. Got frustrated, so I might as well leave it to the experts.

I was working on an enhancement on the wormhole effect where you'll see the DeLorean actually enter the wormhole (code-wise the wormhole goes towards the DeLorean) just before displacement, instead of keeping it in its original place all throughout the time travel sequence (which I see is unrealistic). I had to use the corona on this to make it VERY visible. Looks nice so far (I've tried many other ways before, but it seems the current one works best), but I bet Blue and others can do better.

Here's a sample script (the one I'm using):

Note: BACK-UP ORIGINAL TIMETRAVEL.S FIRST. You cannot test this with RC mode because the corona relies on the player's coordinates, not the car (it was late when I learned about the car coordinates code; too lazy to work on it at the moment). You'll also notice the implosion/explosions and also maybe the fire trails have been disabled. This is for the improvement add-ons I'm working on.

  3. Re-opened topic.

Another question to ask: Can the handling change the wheels of the car? Because I'm tinkering with the handling.cfg right now to get an Angelo-suitable suitable handling for the DeLorean. I tried testing the original/non-slow DeLorean handling, and it learned it shrunk the Crysis DeLorean's wheels.

  4. Sorry about the title, Mini-Me. Can't think of a good title for it when I made this topic.

    I'll try checking the init.cs.

EDIT: And yes it is there. Thanks Mini-Me :)

For those who want to change it yourselves, too, just look for the line "0AB3: var 7 = 10212015". You can pretty much guess the rest.

    Closed.

  5. Where is the code where I can change the current date/time when I load up SA? Sorry about this question, but I'm a bit confused about how the date.cs works, or where this code is located in particular, and I don't have time at the moment to study the code thoroughly. Other than for personal reasons, this is also for one of the SA mod add-ons I'm working on. A bit of explanation about how the script works might speed my work up. :)

  6. Can you slam my HAL 10K in there, iMaster?

    Idea for HAL 10K

    SPOILER:
Let's say he's my attempt to create a friendly replica of HAL 9000. I was interested in the project at first, but my worsening sickness made me end up creating a slightly better, but duller HAL 9000 -- this would best represent my "modder status". It would be best if he's a yet-to-be-activated AI in my lab. Requires a Chaos Emerald or not, it's your decision.

  7. Running a quick investigation I found out my Mac supports shader 5.

So it's the Mac that supports shader 5. There are non-Mac PCs that also support Shader 5. You know Apple, always up-to-date (or beyond).

In my case, I'm stuck with ATI Radeon HD 4850 for our gaming tower. My dad's not gonna buy a new GPU anytime soon -- and I was expecting a NVIDIA upgrade, oh well. The ATI's a pretty decent GPU, no doubt. (too bad Force Unleashed lags on the thing, f-ing Aspyr)

  8. I also think you mistake it for Albert Einstein's work

Oops. That was the Philadelphia Experiment. I recalled Nazis were mentioned in the story, so I thought it was their experiment.
