  1. - The multiplayer mod is long dead, I think.

    - Mike pulled an April Fools joke on everyone that the mod is officially dead.

    - Mike promised to post a progress vid to ensure that joke is really a joke. It's been a month, and he hasn't posted it yet.

    - iMaster (a.k.a. Protonkid/iPro) is making a 48-page forum comic about the April Fools joke

    - The last San Andreas mod update was on March 28, 2010. Go see the Downloads page if you haven't downloaded it yet. (and, yes, the once-mini-mod has turned to an official mainstream version of the mod, in case you missed it)

BTW, this is angeloelibz24. I requested an account name change for security and personal reasons.

  2. I already told you guys what's only edited is the handling.cfg. I'm still using the Crysis DeLorean's default vehicle.ide -- if I was using the original DeLorean IDE, I would have discovered the shrunken wheels way before I made this topic. I re-checked the IDE thrice, so I'm 100% sure it didn't change the wheel sizes by itself lol.

If only that gtamodding link Mini-Me posted wasn't broken or inaccessible, I'll definitely check the wheels width part.

EDIT: Err, never mind. I found it in the Project Cebrera website. I missed that part of the tutorial when I was reading it (I was searching for the words "wheel scale" or "wheel size", never thought of searching the rest with "wheel" only)

  3. 'Ya sure? Because I tried switching between the original and the non-original handling, and yes the handling.cfg CAN change the wheels' sizes. I still haven't figured out which part does it, though.

Btw, I'm trying to make the Crysis DeLorean as fast as the pre-20100228 update DeLorean for my planned add-on mods.

  4. 1. Doc probably likes gull wing doors because it's futuristic. (it's futuristic to me, too)

    2. True, but Doc may not have known about those vehicles before he bought the DeLorean at around 1981.

    3. A 4x4 pick-up would contradict my 1st and 3rd reasons. Yes, it has a lot of space in the back, but how about space inside? Doc would need space for the buttons, switches, gauges, time circuitry and Flux Capacitor, wouldn't he? Also, having Marty as a friend and a good time travel companion, he'll also need the passenger's seat so he wouldn't dare get rid of it for the sake of space. :P

I forgot my fourth reason: The ontological paradox -- Doc learned from the future Marty that he'll choose the DeLorean anyway. So the reason to choose the DeLorean came from the future Marty, which came from Doc, which came from the future Marty...........etc.

  5. 3 reasons why he didn't buy a faster car

    1. "The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?"

    2. He probably don't have enough money to buy a more expensive vehicle.

    3. The DeLorean is probably the most time machine-convertable and -compatible back in 1980's. Come to think of it, Doc may have already predicted the time machine freezing after re-entry via the atmospheric moisture. Not only it would help the "flux dispersal" in some way or sh*t, it wouldn't rust at all.

I agree with Grim. 88 was the sufficient speed to pass through the wormhole.
