  1. Can someone help me out unscramble this sentence?

"I like Adidas because 3 they are come in many styles"

For some reason I seem to have trouble fixing it. A friend asked me this, and when I gave up and asked for the answer, she said she didn't want to. Which had me wondering a lot.

  2. LOL AT CREEPER

Something like this happened to me before lol. I was minding my own business making a diamond pick-axe for the first time, until this green walking d1ck with four legs came out of nowhere. Sssssss... BOOM. Now I've lost my gold music disc and almost all of my diamonds. I did not have the time to run because I was in the Crafting Grid screen. I was lucky it was just a "practice world". If I was recording it, however, it would be a good fail vid.

    Speaking of Creepers:

Pardon me for the annoying kid. This is so far the only vid like it in YouTube.

BTW, great idea of that horror mod. I would love to see that coming :D!

It wouldn't be a horror mod. Like the original Shattered Colony game from which this mod will be based on, Shattered Colony: San Andreas will be more like an action/survival/strategical/realistic mod than a horror mod. My target here is to widen the idea of the original game, that is to provide a much different and a bit more realistic zombie ass-kicking experience. It won't be like your ordinary Resident Evil game where a single character can somehow extraordinarily slash through a city of zombies with very few scratches and bruises. The mod will be based from strategy-making and teamwork.

Here's the concept of the total conv.:

    SPOILER:

From the start of the game, you are alone fighting hordes, but your physical fitness, great wits and survival instincts allow you to battle them with little problem. But later on you'll realize you can't fight them alone forever, and that's where the so called "Colonies" come in.

Colonies are a group of survivors who work together to provide the best protection and offense for themselves against the zombie horde. Colonies in the mod will work like Gangs in the base game, with the additional use of safehouses and supplies (food and weapons).

The more supplies and allied survivors you have = the better the chance of survival. And the more safehouses you've captured = the wider the "secured territory" for your Colony = more safer places and more survivors to work with you.

Later on, as a stronger and much more united Colony of survivors, you'll all have to devise a plan to get away from the cursed island of San Andreas forever. Either purge the entire island of the zombie scum and capture the entire state of SA as Colonial territory, or capture one of the three airports as territory and escort your Colony out.

Nice that ya found the Sam Fisher backpack ;) Have fun with that one aswell ;)

I'll still need to convert it to a parachute (however the f*ck I'm suppose to do that). But at least I've finally found it lol.

your survival mod should have the zombies break your car and use the mod that makes him go under the hood to fix it XD

Of course lol. It would be pointless if I make a survival/strategical zombie mod where you can easily lock yourself away in some abandoned car in the street and be safe forever. The mod will involve abandoned but usable cars around the streets after the outbreak, but there'll only be there for faster travel. The best and safer way to travel through the state would still be on foot or biking. Also, the synthetic "virus" that would turn the people to zombies is based from a super-soldier formula, so expect some mayhem.

  4. Posts merged...

Yup, the bed is a good addition to Minecraft. What I also like about the bed is the fact that it is possible you can be woken up by a mob and attack you. Makes me wanna buy it myself (currently borrowing my Apple fanatic uncle's account).

  5. BIG thanks emo. :) Awesome mod. The weapon switching here is much better than the traditional browsing of weapons. Reminds me of the HUD in Prototype.

Now to find the Sam Fisher backpack (unfortunately it's not included in the mod Tactical HUD mod).

Speaking of "You Are Here", I am planning to make a total conversion of my own named "Shattered Colony: San Andreas". It will be like a survival horror/zombie mod, only with some unique real-time strategy-like mechanics. If I have the time, I'd go forward with the plan.

    EDIT: I found it! :D

  6. Does anyone of you guys notice which mod this screenshot belongs to?

    image_31421.jpg

For those who are wondering, I found this screenshot via Google when I tried Googling a backpack mod for GTA. The link/source of the screenshot suggests it's a mod in GTAGarage. This mod looks interesting, so if only I could find it I could take a look.

  7. If given the chance, I would definitely make it into a BTTF1 De Lorean replica (the BTTF1 version is my most favorite version). I prolly also have it in black. Black's my favorite, too. :P

If it is a DeLorean Time Machine, however... Nah. I'd just set the time circuits to at least 30 years to the future and blast myself out of here.

  8. It's been a long time I haven't touched this thread. Just so you guys know, I'm still updating the mods. It's just that I haven't bothered to upload any one of them at this time.

    So far...

    SPOILER:
    - Quick Reflexes now has a duration feature. No more eternal slo mo.

    - Finished traditional-izing the Time Circuits HUD and the speedometer. I might redo this again 'cuz of the new source.

    - Sleep Mod now features an "Energy meter". It's currently driven by food and sleeping. I'd later on make a "Nourishment meter" out of this for a mod project I'm planning to do (which I can't announce/post yet, unless we are friends at Facebook).

    - Disguise Mod now lets you form a group/gang based on your disguise, i.e. if you're a "cop" you can make cops follow you and back you up.

I might re-make this thread again if ever I get the time to debug and post the updates.

@Mike's above post: I realized that the only way to make the doors realistically open is to use a C++ hook or an ASI. I've tried CLEO and the opening/closing ain't smooth.

  9. BUMP

Lenovo IdeaPad Y460 14" Gaming Laptop

    lenovo_ideapad_y460.jpg

    SPECS

    SPOILER:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium x64

    CPU: Intel Core i7 2.67GHz

    RAM: 8GB DDR3

Graphics: ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 / switchable graphics with Intel GMA HD

Audio: Realtek HD Audio / Dolby Home Theater v3 with JBL speakers

Storage: Hybrid -- 640 GB HDD & 32 GB SSD

Took me time to set this up. So many bloatware and software I don't need. The only Lenovo SW I found useful was the power manager and the HDD-based recovery tool (which I find better than the traditional use of recovery CD/DVD).

I also installed a BIOS mod to swap the Function and left CTRL keys. The original positions of the keys are really annoying, especially in gaming.

I'm currently saving money for a Roland AX-Synth (Black Sparkle) to replace my really old Casio synthesizer. I'll be buying it at around mid-2011.

  10. I've been using the Color mod for a long time myself. Very good substitute for the ENB series when I was still using my old HP lappie (I'm currently using a new Lenovo IdeaPad Y460). The only problem I encountered with it is lagging when I spawn the Crysis DeLorean. It doesn't lag without the Color mod.

  11. I have a "wish list" but technically I don't ask for anything for Christmas. If there is something important that I wanna ask or buy, I would ask/buy it anytime possible. Christmas for me is just about the family reunions, the work/school-free days and the goopy carbonara.

My wish list: (All important, so to speak)

    1. Roland AX-Synth Keyboard. Or rather "Keytar". To replace my old and aging Casio keyboard. Keytars may sound ridiculous for some of you guys, but for me it's an opportunity to finally play the keyboard like a guitar without needing to sit down all the time. For those who are curious what a Keytar is: http://www.andertons.co.uk/Products/i/large__AXSYNTH.jpg

    2. New laptop with dedicated graphics. Apple, HP, ASUS...ANY brand, as long as the GFX is dedicated video memory-wise or for multimedia stuff. I'm getting sick of 20-minute gradient rendering -- that's right, 20 minutes. <_<

  12. I saw the real map were is Marty's house (in Google Earth). Could Doc reach 88 mph on 243 ft?

How about shorter than that? Like the theater in BTTF3, like I've said earlier? :P

EDIT: And how about the time when Doc took the DeLorean to the future for the first time in BTTF1? He managed to do 88 through that same road, with the BTTF1 DeLorean.
