RG 1 Report post Posted January 8, 2012 Easily is my opinion. Could look for a laptop with a higher screen resolution though. 1366x768 on a 15.6" screen is a bit low by today's standards, though still very common.
uokka 117 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) My knowledge about new hardware is limited but I would recommend to check the performance of the important parts (especially GFX card performance [GPU, MEM Hz] for gaming) compared to those with the same branding/chipset, but built into tower PC's. This is why I hate laptops. You either get an email checker with a low performance, or a powefull thing which batteries are empty after 1 1/2 hours or so.. I recommend to use a tower, if you dont really need a portable PC. -- Otherwise, use a tower for gaming/video and a cheap laptop for the rest Edited January 9, 2012 by uokka
TheCoolest2 0 Report post Posted January 9, 2012 (edited) Thanks for the reply. I would get a tower but I move around a lot. Would like it portable. I agree with your statement uokka, you get an email checker with low performance or a powerful one with terrible battery life. A few better pieces of hardware in this one, I like the Zero dead pixel insurance they add in, expensive but they give you free shipping http://sagernotebook.com/index.php?page=pr...del_name=NP8130 If I was to get this one, should I get it with 6GB of Mem or 8 I was also looking at this http://www.xoticpc.com/force-16f2012-msi-16f2-p-3376.html The one I originally posted about I found for 687 because of discounts http://www.powernotebooks.com/configure.php?special=1009 Its 736 with 8GB of ram. 711 with 6GB Edit: The second one has a discount price of 959 Going to go with the Matte screen. So I believe I will be choosing the second one, but I have doubts now as new products are coming out Edited January 10, 2012 by TheCoolest2
