quick update, first ecto 1model is nearly ready, I just need to convert 3ds to vc dff. It's the regina ECTO 1 body with a gran torino body stick ing out i.e. so the wings, rear light and nose are are replacing the existing ones.

I give up, its to complicated to create ecto 1 and it screws up my game!!

If Spyker is dead how do you explain the 2010 Spyker C8 LM85. They dont sell in Holand, just every where else.

Just returning to the ECTO 1 mod quickly does any one know any decent cars that resemble a 59 cadillac. I need the front end which has the grill and lights (at the moment I have attached the top of the regina ECTO 1 to a 1976 Gran Torino (it has the lights and a cadillac esk grill). Mod cars are better to use than gta made cars as they have lots of parts in different meshes where as a mod car is mostly one part.

actualy they didnt, GM wernt happy with the terms of the deal with Koeningsegg, then Spyker put a bid in and GM sold Saab to Spyker, with GM holding on to 42% of the shares and still supplying parts. Saab then took control of Spyker as they have more experience of manufacturing cars for Saab Spyker automotive. Out of intrest Saab translate to Sweedish Aircraft Company.

KITT is super cool, like anothe league. Can you imagine being pulled over, "it wasnt me, it was KITT" next day Micheal is found with tire treads across his back in the middle of the road.

Thats for the rubbish ecto 1. No one has told what their favorite movie car is yet. ECTO 1 mod was something i asked while I rembered it. Deloreans are one of my favorites the other is the S&H Gran Torino.
Of course my all time favorite:

Its a strabge car, its got LED lights that make it look like and council house at christmas, the staering is more num then i would like but is still quite good for a car the same size as a 7 series bmw with xwd, and a 2.0L turbo diesel (you can get a 2.8L twin turbo petrol with xwd. Interior is a mix of grey and colourful gauges and HUD.

The dodgey headlight version is the one that was available on gta garage. I wish you good look on making an ECTO-1. Unfortunatley my conversion has hit a problem as you need to be a rocket sciencetists to understand how these programs work! If I rember its in a post on this forum where one of the mod team converted it, search for ecto and its like the third entry.

Like I said its all technobabl. You needthis program and this one and you x y z the this, otherwise its you cant convert sa to vc.
if anyone has the file can you please sent it to me before i shoot the computer in frustration over a mod that sudenly ceased to exist!!!

We are looking for the vice city version not san andreas. Making one is a nightamre. I have already hit problems with any decent cadillacs being locked.
EDIT: A way to convert the sa version to vc would be useful but no none can give a straight forward answer. Its all technobabl

I have switched plans, I am going to use an existing car it will be easier. Who does have the vc conversion, im not looking to upload it any wear I just want to use it for perosnal use. It would be easier to just send us the file instead of having to make it and go through the stage of nearly putting my fist through the screen.
I can just ask what is your favorite movie cars?

Just been trawling the forums and there is a post on this site from one of the mod team who has converted the san andreas ECTO for vice city and there was a link but it was removed due to legal reasons. This was late last year.

I know its wierd, It was one of the best mods I had. The onlu ECTO-1's I can find is a rubish regina mod which just adds the roof gear, ECTO-1 for SA and people talking about making a decent VC ECTO from 5 years ago and never finishing it!

For some bizzare reason I decided to watch as many of the car films as possible, so things like dukes of hazzard, starksy and hutch, night rider and various others. Thta got me to thinking which movie car would you guys like the most. My personal favorites at the moment is the Gran Torino.
On another note does any one have an ECTO 1 for gta vice city. I have got the excellent BTTF mod, with the deloreans, Starksy and Hutch 1976 gran torino, the Men in Black LTD, KITT as i am using version d of the BTTF mod as it does not break the computer and the Gneral Lee so I need ECTO 1 to complete the collection. If you know where I can find or If you can send it to me that would be brilliant. I know it exists as I used to have it but my pc went through a complete wipe recently.

I know I kepp asking for your help finding vehciles because i'm no good at finding them (you guys have connections and vast knowledge of modding), but this is even bigger than the genaral lee and fire trucks combined: I am lookin for the rarest of all mods, a British police car, there are some like the escort cosworth and focus RS, but I am looking for a Volvo estate or BMW 320d (both are currently used by every British police force espically here in hampshire). Please can any one help me find one?

Its fixed now. I installed the general over the love fist limo and it works great.
