  1. In your So Many Others link, it doesn't show that at all. This cannot be done in GTA VC or SA, due to memory restrictions. What is shown in the video is ways to remotely cause the delorean (or multiple deloreans) to time travel without RC mode or getting inside the car.

    You didn't see the right part. Go to 2:48. I know its possible, and has been done.


  2. Yes, I read the FAQ and it said this wouldn't be possible and shouldn't be asked. But I'm just curious about it. But if it wasn't possible, then how come so many others have done it?

    Even if it did lag, how would it be done? I could see some interesting applications with it.

    Also, I would love to try this out even if it did lag.

    Also, the replay system in GTA SA doesn't lag, so theoretically couldn't you do it using something like this?

    Something else is that, it doesn't have to alter the future. I just mean to JUST see yourself, and what you did.


  3. Its not a glitch but a feature.

    Its the "Cars Float Away when hit" cheat, activated via memory.

    Open the scripts with Sanny Builder and search for this:

    0A8C: write_memory 0x969166 size 1 value 1 virtual_protect 0
    

    Or this (same thing):

    0A8C: write_memory 9867622 size 1 value 1 virtual_protect 0
    

    IIRC, the "Cars can drive on water" cheat is also used.

    When found, delete it and recompile.

    I searched for that line in every script with Sanny Builder 3. Found nothing.


  4. Yeah, I'm sorry this is probably in the wrong section, but the bugs and troubleshooting section isn't working for some reason. 0.0.

    Anyway, On Delorean88MP's BTTF mod for San Andreas, after I install it, whenever I hit a vehicle, it floats away. Kinda like zero gravity.

    But it only happens when this particular mod is installed. I have no other mods on the GTA SA.

    I demonstrated this glitch in THIS video.


  5. Er- I'm having some problems here installing the beta 3 of your mod. I have a clean install of San Andreas with Delorean88MP's BTTF mod, it works fine. I install your mod, then when I start up GTA SA and open a save, the screen flickers then goes back to normal windows. No error report, or crash log or anything of the sort. And I can confirm that when I remove your mod, it works fine. Am I forgeting a step?

    And just some completely off-topic thing about that BTTF mod, is that once I go into RC, I cant get out unless I restart the game.


  7. I made this for myself, but I figured I'd give it to you guys too. Anyway, this replaces the generic re-entry sound with that

    of BTTF 3. Just put this in your San Andreas/cleo/audio and hit yes to replace. (or convert it to .wav and rename it to band_01.wav to put it in VC:HV.)

  8. As a former member of the ELBD's SA-MP Team, I can say with the utmost authority that is pretty darn unlikely that the server will still be on and no other server in the SAMP list will allow you on with such an old Client Build, so its kinda pointless anyway.

    Even Mike's MTA server is gone.

    SAMP is still online. And that doesn't mean you can't host a server, or atleast a private one.
