Because the Doc in 1885 and the Doc in 1955 are two different Doc's from two different Timelines.
It's believed that Marty WOULD HAVE gone back to 1985 and thus grown up to be seen in 2015
I guess so.

Well the lightning isn't what caused the Time Circuits to go all haywire. They were already set for January of 1885, so the bolt actually sent the DeLorean to when the Destination Time line read. It makes more sense for them to just leave it as it is.

Hey everyone, I've been having a problem with GTA SA lately and I was wondering if someone could help.
If anyone saw my other topic then you know I'm trying to add Trance's Telltale D as a whole new time machine. Well I put the wheels and struts and things of that sort in the IMG archive and gave each one custom model numbers in animation.ide, but whenever I go to start the game it crashes and tells me there was an error with veh_mods.ide.
But that's not all. I remove the TellTale lines from animation.ide and the game starts right up. So I tried putting the 1931 Hill Valley in, but the model numbers Trance provided conflicted with existing ones, so I changed them. Same problem. I went and check veh_mods.ide and those model numbers don't conflict with mine.
This isn't the first time I've had to change model numbers to make different mods work. Trance and I went through a whole big thing a couple of weeks ago, and it boiled down to model numbers. After a quick change everything worked just fine.
Can anyone tell me what's going on?

I don't think he means that the DeLorean just randomly get struck, I think he means that when it does get struck that it sends you to some random date. Not just JAN 01 1885 ' 12:00, but anywhen all throughout the space-time continuum. Just like how the board's Destination Time changes every time a page is refreshed.

Couldn't you just back up the original .dff's and .txd's before you install 0.2f, then replace the new ones with the originals?

Hey all.
I'm working on adding another Time Machine (Trance's Telltale DeLorean) to the other BTTF SA mod. This one. The problem is that, like 0.2e in Vice City, all of the time machine-y aspects of the mod seem to be centered around whether or not the Time Machine was created in the garage and not just randomly spawned. I kinda copypasta'd the code for the Oxnard DeLorean, (Infernus is Oxnard, Majestic is Telltale) but no matter what I do I can't get it to work.
The entirety of the garage code goes to complete s**t whenever I try and do simple things. If I choose the Part III D for example, I can physically see it spawn, but whenever my player is scripted to appear inside the game crashes. And if I try and select the Telltale DeLorean, I can't even see it spawn. The game just crashes.
I've pasted both the original and my crappy code below and I was wondering if someone who's more experienced with CLEO than I am would be willing to lend a hand and help me get this problem straightened out. Thanks in advance.

Not to sounds like a d-bag, but Ruth's Frock Shop isn't completely a brick building. Or bricks at all.

The clock being set to 10:04 was really more of a gag thought up by the production team. Not an actual error.

You can't really go by the movie in terms of timing for the Particle Effects. In Part I they didn't start until 88 and lasted for an extended period until Temporal Displacement. Part II they started at 88 but were much, much shorter and in Part III they started at at least 60 and then again at 84.

Believe it or not I don't mind the effects. The re-entry explosions I feel are down right stunning compared to some other particle mods I've seen. And I was wrong, Time Train is one gripe of two. I wish it were a little easier to mod. I'm trying to put in Trance's Telltale DeLorean as a separate time machine and it's a pain in the ass.

Wow, I finally got it to work and I must say this is actually a lot cooler than I though it would be. My only gripe is I'd like to see the Time Train.

Am I the only one who can't get this weird ass SA mod to work at all? All four of the install packages pop up as nothing but question marks but I think I managed to get it installed. When I push T+H to summon a DeLorean the game crashes and dies with an error in DOORS.s or some bulls**t. Really frustrating.

I still think it'd be a cool thing. Despite being non-canon it'd add a little...je ne sais quoi...to the experience of the Mod. That little bit extra. Trance's conversion is sweet and all, don't get me wrong, but I'd ABSOLUTELY KILL to see what LGisby and DK could do with 1931.
Also, Leaf, Gale himself has said that only the movies are canon. Everything else (Game, TAS, Ride) exists in a 'What if?' universe.
