~Leaf~ 111 Report post Posted May 25, 2015 (edited) I've been thinking about making a renderware clone, more updated and close to how the III era worked. would anyone be interested in something like this for making games? basically this would be a full game engine +SDK physics would be controlled by bullet physics (same thing gta IV and V use) one of the main things bttf:lc could do which is adding libraries like Libpng and Zlib etc. the ability to make features in a language similar to SCM but referenced in C++ for quick access. and more Edited May 25, 2015 by ~Leaf~
Bullseye 5 Report post Posted May 29, 2015 Yes, I think an SDK would be quite useful for mod making in GTA games I'm no good at making things like this but I think it could be a great tool, if you are talking about, what I think you are talking about and the possibility of a dev console like the source stuff? just a thought.. ~John~

You will need knowedge of C++ and visual studio, plus there is no tutorial that comes with the sdk. This SDK handles almost anything you can find in SA, though. Link: http://github.com/DK22Pac/plugin-sdk Also, you might want to check out one of my topics, where I mention an Open Source Limit Adjuster for GTA III, VC, & SA made by another great coder, ThirteenAG. http://www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=4255

I've been working in Unity but it's a bit weird for me so something like that would be awesome, but it's probably impossible.

Nothing is impossible, it's a case of knowing what you are doing, Leaf seems to be very good at what she does in regards to Renderware coding, you only need to see what has been achieved in BTTF:LC to see what is possible A while back, DK22Pac released a SDK for making script hook plugins in GTA SA.
