bttf2 delorean hover

Hey i just have one question, is it possible to make DeLorean hover in place instead of constantly pressing UP. Like when you press Shift (horn) DeLorean brakes so something similar to press something and he hovers something like when you press shift on gta sa in helicopter he hovers stays in same place.

yes for elevating but i was wondering if i can stay leveled. Example if i am over the sea like 3 feet over some time (few secs) i would drop into water... i thought if i could stay in that level (3 feet from ground)

Oh i see, well no it cant because it replaces a helicopter in game and you can't change how it does that, it uses heli properties, sorry but no

too bad but interesting idea.... saw the movie today... when in bttf2 doc says something to marty in 2015 and he was hovering in places

yes it can.... take a look at the 2015 hover script for regular cars, remove the hover down keypress, change the key for hover up and add the sparrow in the code....

That would be a handy feature for future versions. Being able to lock altitude as it were then you could chase biff in 1955 in hovermode without scraping the underside of the car.

well, there's a few extra things that would need to be changed for it to know your previous height as it has loaded a new car, eg. memory hacking....

I don't really like the idea, it doesn't make sense to me. It's just natural that hovering objects keep moving and I guess the flying cars in BTTF would have done the same.

Bear in mind that in BTTF 2 Doc hovers the delorean twice. First next to the roof of Biffs Casino and second over the soon to be Lion Estate entrance during the lightning storm. And the previously mentioned maintaining a low altitude while chasing biffs car, then he wasn't strictly hovering but you get the idea.

Anyway its your mod so do what you like, its not as if your going for film accuracy. Wait.....

the team could always change the gravity to be a tad bit lighter so the delorean doesn't hover sink just for flying.

when delorean going forward doesn't lose altitude, so team could make like he's going but stayin' in place if you know what i mean
