bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Does not use C++. It's all SCM. With memory hacking.
Mini-Me 24 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Well, i'd only call it memory hacking if it actually wrote something to the memory . But though you now deserve:
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 (edited) Now since its SCM, it does have a few drawbacks compared to the SA version. -Can't Can hit multiple keys while inputting -Numpad is not functional. Only the numbers above the keyboard. -Sound errors (hopefully will be fixed by putting the keypad sounds into the sfx archive.) bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Well, i'd only call it memory hacking if it actually wrote something to the memory . But though you now deserve: ah, on the contrary, I did write something to the memory. Its all of this stuff. $2072 = -1995422835 // integer values $2073 = 1342335705 // integer values $2074 = -1025694744 // integer values $2075 = 1949868543 // integer values $2076 = 495648893 // integer values $2077 = 8221756 // integer values $2078 = -1070589815 // integer values $2079 = 10011777 // integer values $2080 = 1599930368 // integer values $2081 = 79846238 // integer values $2082 = 272862464 // integer values $2083 = 23779721 // integer values $2084 = -587536304 // integer values $2085 = 950140866 // integer values $2086 = -1962902156 // integer values $2087 = 1949868800 // integer values $2088 = 1133314173 // integer values $2089 = 1792641296 // integer values $2090 = 568872961 // integer values $2091 = 822067931 // integer values $2092 = -1731952192 // integer values $2093 = 1560281088 // integer values $2094 = -1034199457 // integer values $2095 = 4 // integer values 03FD: set_player -5035 handling_responsiveness 8532704 0124: write_mem_address 6850752 value 8532745 Especially that last one..... Mini-Me 24 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Yeah, just seen that . But still that's not really hacking to me. Disabling motion blur in SA or enabling realtime however is.
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 I am hacking, because theres no other way to get the keypresses. I'm hacking into the memory to steal the pointers to what keys were pressed.

Flux Capacitor 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 People gotta stop saying things are impossible, they suddenly become possible MAYBE we'll somehow get the "past selves" thing to work. Anyway, it's as beautiful as the 0.2c one. A few suggestions though. 1. Could you make it so when you hit enter, the red line disappears for a second? It's movie accurate. 2. I can't tell if you did do this, but could you/did you get rid of that "white line" above the numbers? Nice job, I hate doing the cycle, it takes friggin FOREVER
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 I did get rid of the cursor. I just forgot to in that vid because it was part of a different thread. And I'll make the red line disappear too....hmm, change for sa as well ^^
jldarkspider 1 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Is it up for Download or will it be on 0.2f?
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Might be up for 0.2e, depending. Depending mainly because it has no support for location circuits.

BTTF Forever 0 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 YES, this is great, i hope this is implemented in 0.2f,or up for download as an update, i dont really care, it is just really great that over the past week or so the "clock" has started moving fast again for the mod team, what with the mission doodling and the numbering time circuits (to bad its not the numpad.....YET!). it all just gets me a little more excited for 0.2f, and what the mod is going to be like..... In The Future!!! You know, if i had a time machine, id go forward a couple of years or so to when 1.0 comes out, then bring it back here and show all you guys what you've archived (Granted that may create a time paradox!!!)
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 works now btw, forget what i said about hitting two buttons. I was able to program the circuits while holding accelerate.
bluespace88 9 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 Another downside. Cheats are disabled. I don't use them personally, so I dun really care
jldarkspider 1 Report post Posted October 8, 2009 I can only Imagine the stuff that will be in 0.3. Or 0.2f for that matter.
