Don't like this though, SA can't handle that many particles....but maybe coronas, i dunno.

Btw, if I wanted 3 sparks, then thats the maximum length it can be.

still, only 32 particles allowed with pointers in memory? Thats stupid of sa. Probably my only gripe with the engine.

But there might be a way around this, and thats to create objects for the sparks, invisible ones, and attach 2dfx to them. Objects at least aren't limited to 32 in the memory.

Yeah. VC's had varying sizes for each particle in the spark. This only has two sizes. The head is the big one. The tail is the small one.

the funny thing is also. When I first started working on SA, the max particles I could get was around 30. That thing is made of 50. VC's was around 30.

I got it down to 30 now and about the same length.

And some more testing reveals I can have 200 particles, or around 5-6 sparks going on at once, unlike VC's 3.

now, if the refueling feature does get added to this mod, will the animation still look glitchy like in VC (del hop)?

In VC, there was an open trunk, but no close trunk, so the model had to be reloaded.

In SA, there is an open trunk AND a close trunk, so the model does not need to be reloaded at all. Meaning, the only thing that changes is Mr. Fusion.
