Mini-Me 24 Report post Posted August 21, 2009 What I dislike the most about ExperienceUI is that the title bar is that strangely small... Depending on your position to this idea I have either good or bad news for you: I tried both, Experience UI and Ultra Modern UI and both seem to require files of an older NSIS version. This means that I'll not be able to use these themes/plugins when creating the installer and as it seems, Mike isn't to. So we will most likely stick to MUI2. Yeehah ! EDIT: An other update: The black cmd windows are history, now!
BTTFModMachine 260 Report post Posted February 14, 2013 (edited) It depends on what you are installing. I tried using the XPUI with my auto installer (also with NSIS), and the style didn't feel right. Maybe it is more than what we're used to seeing. Anyway, installshield does the modern UI too: Oh, and for the record, I haven't voted yet. Edit: This is a NSIS installer I made that replaces sparrow.txd in 0.2e with one with my hover wheel addon. http://goo.gl/PWOJU It uses XPUI, so maybe some people can get a feel for it. Run it as administrator and in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3. Edited May 4, 2013 by BTTFModMachine
