  1. As a side note, the new algorithm can also set uninterrupted rain for days :lol:

    EDIT 1: Forgot to mention, I decided not to change those month-long weather settings (january to july, september and december), TT to october and november for now. I'll take care of that in a future update, it's just a matter of jumps.

    EDIT 2: I'm currently looking for a way to have a thunderstorm without rain...


  2. I know it's an old thread but it's somewhat interesting. I guess I found the way to implement this, it just needs some tweaking i.e. avoid same weather conditions at the turn of each century ;)

    edit: it will likely be part of the next update to my environment mod

  4. Hi all,

    in the last couple of days I played with coronas and such on flying models. The result is a small** 'lightings pack' for 0.2f. Obviously the BTTF2 DeLorean and HV 2015 police car show the new effects. It's fun, I admit.

    with a small town in mind, here's a little modification I just made that aims to regulate the amount of peds and vehicles around depending on the time and times, weather, month of the year. As already happens with cars, the changes are noticeable after any time travel**. Just compile+copy and report any bug here: I'll try to solve them in my spare time.

    • I finally managed to add support for different weather in different times. Now on, 10.26.1985 will not metereologically be the same of 10.26.2015 or 10.26.1931 etc.
    • Fixed a bug on Nov 12 1955 that prevented rain to appear after 10:10 pm
    • Edited readme file to explain how to modify weather definitions (EXPERTS ONLY)
    • **Real-time changes: people and cars react to time and weather, just wait and see
    • Corrected amount of peds and cars according to certain days of month
    • Weather computation algorithm for any undefined weather condition

          Also:

    • Parked cars in HV (depending on hour and day): please READ the README file included
    • Edited readme file to explain how to disable additional parked cars (EXPERTS ONLY)
    • Corrected weather for Nov 12 1955
    • Removed all month long weather
    • Optimized weather definitions file
