  1. http://www.facebook.com/v/1595905699381 "No! I refuse to accept the responsibility!" I tried the best I could, I think it was pretty good having done it in Movie Maker AND having the audio overlap and stuff. I mean, it's the first Mind Heist done to Back to the Future. =D

    Achievement ideas

Hey iMaster, a lot of your Achievements seem really awesome, but a lot of them seem like stuff you would normally do in the movies. It's like, half of them seem like giveaways. Isn't the point of Achievements to be, like, hard to get? Course, I could be blaring my mouth, since I haven't contributed any, but that's just my .02

    3DS Max

I realize there's plenty of tutorials, but I believe I may have hit a little...snag. Upon importing my blueprints, which according to several sources are built and tailored correctly, as Viewport backgrounds, I can zoom in and out but the blueprints will become skewed, trying to fit like other blueprints. Also, when trying the "Box" trick (i.e. creating a Box primative and seeing if it matches all 3 viewports with size, height and depth) the Box won't....look correct. Here's an example... I'll set this as the "TOP" viewport. Then I'll bring in this one as the "FRONT" viewport. And when i scroll with my mouse wheel to zoom in and out, the TOP viewport background will try to "scale" itself to match the FRONT viewport. Any help on this would be SUPER. My Aspect Ratio settings in my Viewport Background area are "By Bitmap" and set to Lock Zoom/Pan and Display Background.
  4. Ca-Fe 80s. You will never find, a more wretched hive of sc-sc-sc-sc-um and villainy. We must be cautious.
  5. What kind of jet is it Archer? Like I would have no idea what to Google for that. =/
  6. It's a sound heard in a lot of different movies/TV shows. From http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yZp5hNjoIQ, the DeLorean in Back to the Future, hell even in the Powerpuff Girls. It's a sound used to illustrate speed, or to give something a needed growl or roar. Does anyone know WHAT this sound is in the real world? I think that Del88 said something about a jetliner roar, but I could be wrong with that one. Archer, do you have any idea?
  7. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3150...p;id=1288134965 Found the plutonium box. Side by side comparison. Yes, it is quite normal for me to post to Facebook because everyone on there that I know expects nothing less. =D
  8. @Mod Team : Do any of you guys do mods for other games? Is there anything cool or unique about each of you that any of you would like to share? Do you use any of your abilities that you have been using to craft the mod in real life? What kind of cars do you guys drive? EDIT: One more... Is the reason .2f is taking so long is that you're transferring VC code into CLEO script for Vice City?
  9. Is the Plutonium box in City 17? Might be worth firing it up if it's that little into the game....I know Kleiner yells Great Scott! when he finds Gordon when Barney introduces him. Yea, by the way. Left of Niko. Guess he was Asian, not Caucasian.
  10. List some, if you have the game! 1. Caucasian with sunglasses, red vest, denim jacket and jeans. Usually shoots at me. =[ 2. Reference on the radio : *in talking to one of the actors on the talk shows* "I love that situational comedy where you went back to elementary school and accidentally had sex with your mom!" They gotta be fans, I heard there was some in Red Dead Redemption too. They probably know about the mod, yes? Also, do you guys see any other BTTF references in video games?
  11. Update : Just got it in the mail. The tracks are beautifully remastered. A lot of the main stuff is there, such as, of course, the main theme (played as the End Credits music though), the DeLorean reveal, the Skateboard scene, and so on. All this stuff has been either remastered, or re conducted by Silvestri so well that...I really can't tell the difference between what I hear in the movie and this. You also get a lot of the little cues, such as Lorraine's Bedroom, George McFly's "rescue scene" where he's "fighting" Biff and the aftermath, the dance scene where Marty's fading away, two extra recordings from Marvin Berry's band (such as the little song after Night Train ((entitled Marvin Berry Bebop) and the song after Johnny B Goode, in which there's a little jazz intermission about 2 or 3 minutes long. There's even what looks to be an unused Logo cue, I guess which would have been used to introduce the Back<--- To the Future logo when it was flashed onto the screen. It's all very well done. There's also a lot of stuff on here that hasn't been covered by either the "Songs" album or the "Bootlegged" version. The '85 Lone Pine Mall sequence, where Marty watches himself go back in time, or the Peabody's Farm piece as well. It's nice, cause Lone Pine is probably one of my most favorite pieces in the entire trilogy. The Alternate takes of the CD is especially well done as well. It's basically like the entire album done in alternate takes. The result is a much more edgier, darker tone that, while probably not suitable for the movies, would definitely work in a much more action packed movie, or maybe even a horror film. Peabody's Farm (Alt.), for example, would work in a much more alien setting, and, while the Bobs were wanting a sense of a drama and unknown, this track was probably a bit TOO dark. All in all though, superb CD. I definitely recommend it for any Future fans on this website that's crazy enough about the soundtracks, or even has a passing interest in the films.
  12. Most of you probably already know about it, but Intrada Records has a special 2 disc set of the "COMPLETE" score of Back to the Future, Part 1. http://store.intrada.com/s.nl/it.A/id.6315/.f The first disc contains all the original music from the film...while the second disc contains of alternate takes and the like (Peabody's Farm (Alt.) is AMAZING, why didn't Silvestri keep that in? Would have added a sense of drama to the scene). What makes me excited about this is, despite all the fan edits of stuff I've found, bootlegged copies, isolated scores, even the "Songs from the Movie" edition, which only had like, 2 orchestrated songs on it, this has the ones I really like...85 Lone Pine Mall for example, I have always loved that track. And the alternate takes are really interesting as well, such as the different instruments and stuff they used for the Clocktower piece (more emphasis on sharp staccato pieces and more like a sort of "ratatatata" sound.) I've only listened to the clips online, but I just ordered it, and I'm very excited to have it. Anyone else's thoughts on this? Also, uh, for anyone who knows more about it, is this a reproducing...or a remastering of older tapes? Cause, I mean, the "Real Educational Clocktower" clip sounds exactly as the "Overture" piece found in the "Songs from the Movie" CD.
  13. I have the one that says.... "I attended the Enchantment Under the Sea Dance, Hll Valley High, Nov. 12, 1955." Where do you guys find these shirts?
  14. I was watching BTTF at work today, and as i watched the '55 scene when Marty is examining the town square. Something just kind of clicked. So, Red Thomas, the mayor running for re-election in 55, is he, or could he be, the same bum named Red in 85? It makes sense somehow because Marty recognizes him in 85 when he comes back to the future (aha, because that's the name of the movie....tee hee). Thoughts? Am i just stupid for not realizing this before? Lol. =/
  15. I think they look great! Keep this version, i've been waiting for the glows forever! They look amazing. Now if i can just get my GTA SA to work. Hm.
  16. HEY! HE TRIED DIDN'T HE? =P Geez, people are new at stuff, takes time to get good at stuff Blue, not everyone's been doing this for years.
  17. Sigh, did that. I can read the last page of information to get that, before I even got the mod, I was reading on problems people were having. Believe me, I can read. =P Aka, I've already done that, but I can try it again. It says as follows. SPOILER: GTA:SA Crashed, Debug Info Follows: GTA Info: Version: US 1.0 Last File Loaded: AUDIO/STREAMS/AA Last Library Loaded: kernel32.dll Error: Unknown Assembly Info: Exception at Address 0x004DD6A3 Exception Code: 0xc0000005 (Exception_ACCESS_VIOLATION) Registers: EAX: 0x000000000 EBX: 0x000000000 ECX: 0x000000000 EDX: 0x000000000 ESI: 0x00B6BD44 EDI: 0x00000001B EBP: 0x7E420762 ESP: 0x0023FCD8
