  1. I think the problem I have with games like that is that like, the damage is SOOO ridiculous. The damage isn't fixed either (as in, it's a set amont each time) and how much health the enemy has, so like, it seems like to me, less strategy is involved when you plan your attack. Even with Final Fantasy IV, I could see my enemy's health bar (or was that FFVI? I don't remember) In Paper Mario, I know my Hammer does 6 attack, my jump does 3 on each hit, the enemy has 5 health with 3 defense, and can only be hit with aerial attacks. Gives the game a lot more strategizing element to it, in my opinion. I can figure out which Partner is best for the job that is good for a particular role.
  2. Incorrect. I just preordered it. EDIT: Telltale's BTTF area is down. Guess they must be aboot done. =D
  3. I do NOT have a 5:1...I just bought a Logitech Z523 2.1 system. Seeing as all my entertainment devices are next to each other in a 10x10 ft room, i don't need a humongous setup. I actually prefer 2.1 over 5.1..maybe I'm crazy but I just like it better that way. I like all the sound directly from the front v.s. coming from EVERYWHERE. >_> Having said that, after listening to it with the new speakers installed, it sounds....AMAZING. My hearing is a lot better than my eyesight, so I could definitely tell the sound is VERY cleaned up and optimized for today's setups.
  4. TTYD (Paper Mario 2) was the best. Super Paper Mario was terrible. Hope Paper Mario 3DS will be back to the series roots.
  5. Duuudes, so anyway. I just got the Blu Ray disc set. Even running it on my 720p 22" monitor, the movies look FANTASTIC. I mean, from Temp. Ex. 1, you can see like water dripping off the DeLorean, various tire tracks from previous takes (it was wet at the time, but you guys already know that). The fact that I can actually tell it was wet (I have horrible eyesight) must mean something. Hell, even the clocks in the beginning look GREAT. So yeah, point in point, the video looks fantastic. Haven't had a chance to check out the audio fully (terrible speakers inside this monitor, gonna rectify that tonight), but i'm sure it sounds great with a 5.1 surround sound. XD
  6. @iMaster... Ah yes, 11 then. Makes a lot more sense! Stupid mental math. I could see a throwaway gag, should we ever be introduced to Young Doc's living quarters, there'd be a few works of Jules Verne paraphernalia hanging about.
  7. So, my whole thing is, Young Doc is supposed to be in the game, right? If Doc is 65 in 1985, and Marty goes back to 1931..wouldn't that make Young Doc around...6? That seems like it'd hardly been an even worthy character. I mean, at 6 years old? I mean, I know Doc's a freakin genius, but I mean hmm.....it' just doesn't seem like Doc at 6 years old would be a very....plausible character, you know what I mean? Unless (another theory) The Young Doc they're referring to has ALSO been displaced in time, and both Young and Present Doc (1885 Doc) have both been misplaced in time. That'd be something interesting if Doc and Marty were roughly the same age having to solve puzzles together. I'm also guessing Biff is gonna come in somewhere....(See the chapter name timeline at the end of the trailer) Very interesting where they could go with this....
  8. It'd have to be either Super Mario 64 or Paper Mario (1 or 2)
  9. Why does everyone in the BTTF community seem to despise him so much?
  10. I'd take the reactor vents. To me, that's a key piece of what the BTTF DeLorean looks like. Like, when you think of the DeLorean exterior (at least me) I think of the huge hulking reactor vents on the back. I also liked archer's idea about the digital MPH speedometer. I mean, if I knew how to build one I'd do that instead though. =/
  11. Going on Saturday over to Charlotte with a buddy of mine. 2.5 hour drive, but well worth it in my opinion. After all, when is the chance to see BTTF again in theaters gonna come around again? http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=3179...p;id=1288134965 Going tomorrow to try and find his white shirt at Walmart, or something close to it. Get some suspenders too.

    Seinfeld

Dude! HUGE Seinfeld fan! Funny, in Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, they had like the bass licks from the title theme and a bunch of one-liners reminscent of the show. Micheal Cera's character even slid right through the door like Kramer's trademarked entrance. Such a cultural impact this show's made!
  13. Excellent! Though...you could have used the Doc skin for like, the exterior shots. Even so, it was really close to the actual film, so kudos to you!
  14. Divorce is tough. I can understand all too well your frustrations. No harm no fowl? BOT though... Chris is just like WHATEVS.
  15. Wow, sorry man, I didn't see this thread! Don't have to be so rude about it though, Mr. King. Was anyone else digging the art design? Marty looked chillsauce, I think I only had a problem with Doc's eyes, he looked almost zombiefied.
  16. http://gonintendo.com/viewstory.php?id=134853 Still some cool tidbits. Glad Bob Gale is in on it, and that Lloyd is lending his voice!

  18. This can't be happening! This can't be.... http://www.examiner.com/tv-in-national/jus...e-future-remake http://www.nooooooooooooooo.com/
  19. Well it's up right now. Good thing I'm a lowkey YouTuber. XD
  20. ^ What Archer said. YouTube has a content filter system. If you're video has something that YouTube recognizes is copyrighted (for example, a video with Back to the Future footage for more than 30 seconds, ect.) then it will either block the audio or take it down entirely, which at that point it's like, "Why bother?"
  21. Thanks! This will never hit YouTube though. Stupid Univ keeps deleting the audio tracks, so it's pointless now.
