    I don't understand the fail. Doc said "Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads." When Doc went from 1985 to 2015, he was flying. When Biff went from 2015 to 1955, he was flying. When Biff went from 1955 to 2015, he was flying. When Doc went from 2015 to the alternate 1985, he was flying. [EDIT] Oh, I see. Doc probably backed up from the beginning of the street, since Marty's house was at the end, and on re-entry he turned to his driveway and hit some trashcans.

    It doesn't explain why the car looked the same, and why Einstein was in it though.. the dream could of meant something. I still don't get why the hell they used the SAME EXACT DELOREAN MODEL for the dream scene..

    I'm not sure if the DeLorean was even duplicated, the first scene you see was probably what happened.. and why the hell was there a Back to the Future TWO DeLorean at the Twin Pines Mall scene?

    It caused a rift apparently, so it duplicated the one that was in 2015 that was still functional or something.

    Doc let Marty use the DeLorean to go back to the 1920's because Doc was in TROUBLE. And it's no excuse for it not to be canon, it needs to be based off the movie.
