we turned it off on the dmc 12, was a very long conversation about it. just cause this mod isn't being finished doesn't mean parts of it are being used in hill valley and the new game.
Nice! will the new game have the same interface as the GTA III mod & the free roam elements like GTA?

I get the error failed to open mp3 report when starting, I only get window format mismatch when attempting to load in anything other than fullscreen mode
Fullscreen doesn't work for me & is there anyway to change the resolution?

This may or may not help. But to get it to run under windows 10, I had to install silent patch for gta iii.

I just grabbed the 1.1 patch from the R* website & it worked

of course it needs to be the BTTF II Del, but if you go to 2015 or beyond all cars will go into hover mode except for the ordinary Del for some reason, but still it's an awesome mod, it's just a shame it will never be finished

Just done a fresh install of GTA III, ran it as normal, worked perfect, installed 1.1B & got the same result.... is the BTTF .exe file not compatible with the 1.1 patch which I had to install to get gta3 to run on Win 7, is US version different to the UK version?
Edit: I copied the contents of the audio folder on the CD ROM over to the Audio folder on the hard drive it's not demanding disc 2 anymore & it now runs... however I am still getting:
BTTFLC_SCREWUP_FAILED_TO_OPEN_MP3_REPORT
and
BTTFLC_SCREWUP_WINDOW_FORMAT_MISMATCH

When I try to run the game with 1.1B installed, it asks for disc 2 even though disc 2 is in the drive.....
Plus I get a couple of error messages saying that I need to tell you about them..

I have an issue with the current version of BTTF:LC everytime I go to change the screen resolution it crashed back to desktop & doesn't save the settings, I am guessing this is due to a bug because if I need to minimize it to look at something on the desktop it will crash & close then & when I change the screen resolution normally it will go back to desktop but the settings are normally saved, but not with this mod installed, it crashes, close & don't save the settings, is there a way to set the resolution before opening the game, this is the CD-ROM version not the steam version.....

That's a shame, as it would have saved a lot of vehicle slots, but I guess if it means the whole thing being re written then fair enough...

Only issue with re-adding the ride mission is that we would also need the dmc-13 time machine back in. While we could add it back as a road going vehicle, we stole it's heli slot for the 2015 taxi (hover conversion and animations to follow soon)
Not sure how big of a job it would be but just by way of suggestion, seeing as Leaf is helping with the project now could the hover mode be the same as BTTF:LC that way no hover/heli slots would need to taken up & all cars would be able to hover (Leaf correct me if I'm wrong)

I have a countdown timer on my forum, only I can see it because it's a dog forum & it's likely that no one on there would even know what 0.2f means.... but it says: 0 Years 0 Months 0 Days 7 Hours 55 Minutes 28 Seconds to go! lol

One of my Dad's friends had a Delorean, Mervin Young his name.. every now and then you would see him driving round the city, it use to fascinate me as kid being a BTTF fan

That's what I thought, like I said pretty much as soon as it was available on PC people were mod mod & modding some more lol.... brilliant stuff!

That GTA V mod for BTTF would be cool if it had all the right sounds and animations etc, but GTA V was made to not be modded, took a while for modders to get in the code. So I'm not expecting anything to come from it for a while. Once good mods start coming I'll be getting it though! I have it on Xbone atm so I'm not missing out on anything yet.
Good Start though, sorta like GTA IV's first BTTF mod.
I don't know, it seems that GTA V was being modded pretty much as soon as it became available on PC, Rockstar reckon they welcome mods though, not quite in the same way as Valve but they do welcome modders...

It is what it is, unfortunately life moves on - we simply never had the man power to do what we initially set out to do.

It's a bit of an anticlimax since we've waited so long, but glad it is finally being released, but with 0.2f soon being released it may inspire people to add to it, I have noticed that the youtube lot are working on BTTF bits for GTA V already...
