BTTF reference spotted in a manga
Shadowknight1 replied to Zeether's topic in Back to the Future Discussion
I was about to comment on the lack of Police Boxes. lol -
That'd be pretty darn nifty, I'd think. Kinda hate to think about having to wait until May to have this though...
-
Or just not download it if Trance is able to put it up.
-
Looks pretty good to me.
-
Play Episode 2: Get Tannen. The DeLorean gets back into the air at last.
-
Here's a question. Can you get the flying model from Episode 2 and do the flying version in VC?
-
According to Alan Johnson over at TellTale, Episode 1 was supposed to be on PSN in January but Sony took too long. This is kinda why I splurged a little and got the game for PC and PS3. PC, or laptop in my case, I get to play them earlier and since it's a laptop, I can take them with me, however graphics are poorer. PS3 is gonna stay right where it is cause it's not fun to move, but it has superior graphics and runs a lot smoother....I wish laptops didn't have non-upgradeable graphics cards.

^^I believe that answers the question.

Because it's the BTTF The Game DeLorean, which is essentially the BTTF2 version. So it would have the barcode plate, not the OUTATIME. I really like the look of this, much better than the old model in VC. This would go well with the Crysis version of the BTTF1 DeLorean.
-
Considering that I've played through it several times now, I certainly don't think of the game as mediocre. You want a mediocre game? Play Back to the Future on the NES. And frankly, you sound a bit hypocritical with the "just as long as they bear the BTTF name" line when you're posting on a BTTF message board.

Only in that first scene. Since it was intended to be from Marty's perspective through the video camera, it'd be impractical to recreate the speed of the time machine without the rapid cuts between Marty and Doc, and the DeLorean. At least, that's what I think the decision behind that was. They weren't going for a shot for shot recreation there.

I think what looks off in those pics is the wheels should be the same brightness as the rest of the car, but VC is...finicky. It's an old game and an old engine.
-
That was an idea that they tossed around until they realized that getting a car from the 40's would be uber expensive, not to mention getting three or four of them for filming purposes.
-
I was wondering that as well, but it seemed to me to be because of the flying DeLorean...
-
"Help" meaning, "Should I call the nearest asylum?" lol
-
Comparable to writer's block, I'd assume. You have a picture in your head that you plan on achieving, but getting to that point is a pain in the arse.
-
*facepalm* ANYWAYS! If these sounds help the team, then yay! I do know how hard it can be to get ahold of sound effects in movies without the music and dialogue.
-
Odd.
-
Works for me?
-
I don't know if these will be needed or not, but in extracting the soundtrack from BTTFTG, it also ripped all the sound effects, and among them are some very crisp and clean sounds for the DeLorean. They're in ogg format, I don't know if that's a problem, but here's all of them in a zip file. If this isn't needed, then shame on me. Link is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?g15i2vppyd51uk7

SPOILER: Actually, Emmett does pay attention to it if you actually show it to him. It's one of those optional things that...well, really shouldn't be optional in this case. He asks what it is, Marty replies that it's something that they're looking at at the patent office and Emmett makes a remark like, "A portable audio recording studio! How does it work?" As for Kid Tannen, he was too angry to notice something small like that tape recorder. EDIT: Lots of spoilers, eh? lol

Discrepancies? There's gonna be those ALL over.
