Hello yourself, clueless. They wouldn't do much good without service providers. You can't just take two cellphones out in the middle of nowhere (in the past no less) and think they'll talk to each other.

After reading this, I decided to see if it would happen. I went around to the mall (where most of the crooks are) and left the Delorean's door up, waiting to see if someone would take it. While I was waiting, I hopped into another car so I could chase him. While I was waiting, someone jacked the car I WAS IN instead. Wasn't expecting that

Even if it was real (which it isn't), in a cell phone limited age, there wouldn't be much conversation to be had on such a phone. And without any signals or service providers (as everyone has pointed out), if she had a time traveling buddy, it would be still be completely useless to try and use them.

I've seen a lot weirder stuff than that. I think the creators of BTTF should be flattered. They have now taken the vague 3 pronged logo and engraved their own idea into people's minds. It's almost like taking credit for fire or reinventing the wheel.

There's lots of psychos out there. I love how none of them can mutually agree on WHAT will happen. If it WAS without doubt going to happen, don't you think most, if not all of them, would agree on what was happening? Some guys (even now) are practicing day in and day out with a legion of loyal followers for the day. I would love to see the looks on their faces when nothing happens and their loyal little legion turns on them. I would pay to see that. Think about how many times the world was going to end, even in my lifetime (from 86). Too many to count.
