  1. Telltale also put synopsis's for 5 episodes on their site. Episode 1: Its About Time Marty McFly is just getting re-acquainted with the 1980's when the Delorean Time Machine he saw destroyed by a speeding train materializes before him. He finds out that Doc Brown is trapped somewhere in the past and that he must travel back in time to save the Doc's future. Episode 2: Get Tannen! While keeping an eye on young Doc Brown's proverbial date with scientific destiny, Marty and 1980's Doc must prevent gang boss Kid Tannen from wreaking havoc on Marty's family, and erasing his girlfriend from the future. Episode 3: Citizen Brown After a rough and tumble return to the 1980's, a time-stranded Marty finds himself in a topsy-turvy version of the world lorded over by enigmatic 'First Citizen Brown' Episode 4: Double Visions Its time for the Hill Valley Expo! Back in 1986, Marty and First Citizen Brown must join forces to create an epic (really?) invention so that he can prevent the young Emmett Brown from making the worst mistake of his life. Episode 5: Outatime Lives are changed, mysteries are solved, and paradoxes are avoided as Young Emmett seals his fate, sending Marty and Doc on a climactic chase through Hill Valley's past, present, and future. Or to summarize: Marty goes back to save Doc, they interfere with 1931 Emmett's future and cause an alternate 1986 where Doc rules the world, and Marty has to work with alternate Doc to restore the timeline.
  2. Its the internet kids that make me avoid the internet, lol. Yeah, I probably overreacted last night, and I don't really hate him. But I don't want to talk to him if he's going to be like that and annoys me like that, he's staying on my ignore list Not that it really matters since I don't talk much anyway. Anyways back on topic, but I have nothing to add yet, lol. EDIT: Spoke too soon. Biff's been revealed even though I wasn't looking for bttf stuff. Go destructoid xD http://www.destructoid.com/telltale-reveal...re-189248.phtml What makes me sad is that Tom Wilson isn't voicing Biff though.
  3. I'm not against imagination either. He just annoyed me by talking about it when he doesn't understand that what I meant about my post was that telltale is making something different from us and that adds a bit of variety.
  4. Hopefully they can fix that before the release. How is their lip syncing in other games?
  5. And here's a thing that bugs me with your posts. You seem to direct your "use your imagination" solely on me. I see no reference to anyone else. So I'll say this. Don't assume stuff about me and stop forcing your opinions on me and misinterpreting my post and posting a counterpoint that has nothing to do with my original point, and then backing up your counterpoint with more misinterpretation of my words, because thats annoying >_< Here, let me reword my original post. I hate you btw, so I'm not talking to you again. Reply back if you want, I ain't reading it.
  6. Not really, because I never said anything about the mod and freedom, so I'm confused on what you are trying argue here. Maybe if I said Then that would make sense, since I'm suggesting that I like a linear game without freedom. But I didn't. I just said, its nice to have something thats focused on a different aspect rather than being the same thing as the mod, because it just gives it more variety to choose from. Sure, its linear, but so is a book, and this is like an interactive book, so its a medium between a book and a game. Well, I guess, more like between a tv show and a game. So, its an ok point on its own, has some flaws in it, but its not a good counter-argument against my post, as it misses the point of that post completely and about the only thing it has in common is the word "story" which doesn't even have anything to do with freedom directly.
  7. I'm fine without driving. I think it would be nice to have a bttf game that isn't so focused on just the transport portion of bttf like the mod is, and instead have a focus on actual story and character development.

    Help

I don't play anymore. Free roam's put me off. As has the arcade physics. The only thing that interests me is getting stuff to work, but thats about it. I no longer play it because its almost the same thing every time, and has no appeal other than free-roam time travel that doesn't really depict time traveling all that well. At least environment-wise.
  9. Two Words: Ripple Effect. And an example: Twin Pines->Lone Pine And don't you remember how much of a mess the Garage was in the first place anyway? There wasn't that much space already.
  10. I disagree that the mod is better in everything. The mod is still buggy as hell, effects aren't as close as telltale's are, they actually have characters that look like the real characters, they use current directx technology instead of the ancient dx8.0, they have a story that is not pulled from the movie. But, we do have the train, the free-roam (which sadly I'm sick of), the many deloreans from the movies, libyans and the lightning strike run, programmable time circuits, and others. However having said that, there is no comparison between the two because what we are doing and what they are doing are completely different. The only common thing is that we both have bttf as our source. The mod satisfies those of us who like to have fun in a free-roam environment with deloreans and do whatever we want, whether its picking up hookers, running over cops, or just driving around. The game satisfies those who prefer adventure, story, and characters over the gta-ish free-roam environment.
  11. hmm, thats a good point. It might corrupt the mod, since it hacks the memory too.
  12. I would agree with Mike about the details....if we had concrete proof that this is the original, but we do not have concrete proof that it is. Without knowing any backstory, you can't make any assumptions about the details of the time machine.
  13. Because American license plates are made of aluminum. I do agree with you that Mr. Fusion would not be salvageable, but I see no argument in favor of why there should be a barcode license plate.
  14. To tell you the truth, I never noticed the barcode license plate until many years later, when I started seriously working on the mod. And do you know what you're saying? A steel plate won't time travel when its attached to a stainless steel car that also has many components on it that are not steel. We still do not know the circumstances in why the original Delorean got the barcode plate It could have been Doc was living there for a while, and decided to get a plate so he wouldn't be flagged by cops. Second time, maybe he only hopped there for a hover conversion, then went back to the past, so he didn't fill out an application for a new license plate, because that plate would be rather pointless in a time before hover cars.
  15. I'm sorry Mike, but unless you have proof that this is the original Delorean, you can't rule out that this is a new Delorean that has an outatime plate rather than the barcode one. There is no evidence to support that this is a clone of the original, which is highly possible since Doc made it himself, or if it was the old Delorean, which I reason would cause a paradox, but then again, bttf never had perfect time travelling logic. Personally, I like that it uses that plate, as it was rather iconic, as is much of what we see. It seems more about nostalgia for fans who play the games. Like, I'd like to play as Marty in the clothes I associate him with, rather than a brand new outfit.
  16. Its either no cheats or no keypad/simple key combos The way it works now is that there's a program that intercepts the keystrokes that normally would be used for cheats in order to make the keypad work.
  17. i find this forum full of people who are fans of bttf as a movie and gtatf as a game. Most people here that I see when wanting something never talk much about storyline, and instead complain about effects here, time machines there, character models here, map models there. I tried to stimulate a storyline discussion, but that went nowhere real fast. So I disagree in using this forum as a source for a genuine bttf game. Especially with all these raging going on, flame wars against new members that people think are someone annoying, and just lack of manners by many, including some one the staff. Its not a friendly place, and it mirrors a lot of what I see from gtaforums.com. In fact, this forum is the main reason why I quit so often stall the release of 0.2f and prevent a 0.2g from happening. I only stick around because some people here aren't jerks.
  18. Get a cheap graphics card then. I've seen 256MB 8400s and 512MB 3450s for $25. If you get that free episode, put that money you saved into a graphics card. And for reference.... Call of duty needs a 2.4GHZ dual core and not a 3.0GHZ single core, needs twice the ram, needs 6 times the hard drive space and requires a modern graphics card with shader technology that is 2 generations higher and has twice the video memory. That is so not the same power needed by BTTF. As for why no Xbox or Wii release... TL;DR Wii and Xbox have long approval delays (months) that would delay the release of each episode. Another thing More here: http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20085
  19. Some screenshots from an ign article. Those time travel effects are awesome. http://pc.ign.com/articles/113/1136346p1.html
  20. I gave up trying to be accurate to the movie, so I wouldn't say that I love movie accuracy. Just only on certain things.
  21. Its still a WIP and couldn't be finished in time for the 25th anniversary. Plus, these replica owners are real perfectionists and won't stop at anything to get the actual parts used in the movies, so that's why there's a few missing pieces on it. Plus, those rear coils are a pain in the butt to bend and get right. I believe J went through a couple before getting the perfect coil.
  22. there's too many for me to bother mentioning.
