Well i've tryed eveything and nothing seems to work! :-( Will it be possible to be my Secuirty? I have AVG Internet Security 2011. Avfter all it did cause me masive problems installing Steam onto my computer. I had that problem for a while untill i noticed it was my AVG Security. So will i need to disable it in order to do it properley. I did manage to get Steam running disabling it. Please reply anyone ASAP!

Oh. At least i sorta got the game started. I downloaded the updated exe from here and the main.scm and the same problem. Any solutions?

I made a little brake through. I was just wasting time with the gtavc.exe in the folder and was looking through the Properties. What i just noticed is when the mod is installed it changes the exe. The Read-Only part is not selected on it. So i just copyed the original exe to the moded game and well...sorta worked. Only when starting a new game it crashes the game half way of the pink loading bar. Anyone have this?

I've got my new game and i get the same damn results and it's realy starting to get to me! Looks like it's my crappy computer! It always goes to the black screen and then quits out with an error message with the secreen larger. !!!!!!!!

I have done mate. I did that and it just puts the blue box back on the Read-Only. And turns the folder and its contents blue

I tryed to message somone and it said somthing about me not having rights to do so. How come?

Like i said to another user mate. It is most proberbly MY disk. It's the PLAY one. It's got a deep scratch in. It completley slows down my computer once it's in the tray. So i'm just waiting for my new copy of the game i ordered online. And hopfully i can get back to some time traveling soon! :-) And make some machinimas! I'm going to make scences from the movie.

I don't know if anyone is getting this but every time i visit the site the tabs like About the Mod and The Team are all...messed up. Is it just me or is everyone experiencing this? P.S Can any of the Admins sort my account out please? It seems i can't view most of the tabs on the site, it's like my acount still needs to be activated by the staff. Agent Smith

I tryed that mate. So there's only two problems which i think it may be. My computer might be on its way and needs to be restored which i'm planning on doing. And/or my disk is broke. Well it is cause there is a deep scratch on the PLAY disk. I'm buying a new one online. I'll see if it is my disk, if not i'll have to take my PC back to itfactory settings. I've ordered a new Vice City so hopfully i'll find out if it was my disc or my computer all this time. It would make more sense if this was in the Bug Tracker Section. AMIRITE?

It's nothing to do with reinstalling it. I tryed Lite as well just to test. And what you are saying is that the error i get is because a scm file needs to be downloaded? Were do i put it when downloaded? P.S Is there anyway of getting the other version of 0.2e cause i liked that. Also in my video people always say were i get the map so people would like to use it. Hi all and the Team. I hope the mod is going great! What i want to say is that i followed MikeWard22's video on YouTube how to install the R2 version of the mod. I done everything and the game won't run :'{. I had this problem for a long time and was never able to get pass this. I'm sure some people out therehave the same problem like this I realy want to get back and play this and make little reanactments. Please somebody help. The problem is when i run the exe (gta-vc) it goes to a black screen looking like it's loading the game, then a second it goes back to the place were you loaded the game but only in a bigger screen. It sounds a ping like noise as well to say there's an error. I don't get what i did wrong i followed ALL steps Mike says in the video. My computer is ok. I run scans,registry fixes and all that and the same thing happens! My computer is a gaming com so i don't get what the problem is. So if anyone can help i would greatly appreciate it! Agent Smith P.S I think the setup might need updating. What if you release two seprate versions of the mod. Lite & Full? Just simple installs?
