  1. Do they need to wear suits for Sunday mass back then? More like fixing it instead of rebuilding the whole thing. Yes, with Doc, anything could go wrong, except of if he follows instructions. The future Doc after all knows his own DeLorean better than his younger 1955 counterpart. I'll look onto this myself, hopefully I would be able to explain it myself. It is possible that the DeLorean might have sent Marty at a later time in 1885, but if it is true wouldn't Marty also travel back to 1985 in a later time, too? Marty got to 1985 in the right date and time as set in the time circuits, as far as I can remember.
  2. One of the most badass/pwnage moments of TV: " width="600px" height="361px">" />
  3. Which reminds me...can Vader eat? In The Force Unleashed, Vader and his apprentice are both shown (in cutscenes) to be able literally crush their victim's necks telekinetically, when they close their choking hand to a fist.
  4. Yoda wouldn't argue about reviving a hurt person, yes, but he would argue about doing so with the Force. I mean, the Force is after all their life giver. If one gains the Force-based power to give life, s/he will also possess the power to manipulate life. This will just be a huge temptation to the person who have unlocked and used this ability. The Force is a seductive life-giving energy to those who have access to it, which I believe is the main reason why the Jedi discipline and order existed in the first place. lol, I loved that scene, too. I myself believed Darth Vader can't kill anyone with Force Choke, until I started playing Force Unleashed and realized he can crush necks with it.
  5. According to the Star Wars universe, healing is sort of a dark side ability as this involves the manipulation of life. "Death is a natural part of life." -- Yoda
  6. The Force? I mean you haven't stepped into the TARDIS yet. Vader would just use Force Choke, his favorite weapon, on you and crush your easily-crushable neck before you get in. I really don't like fictional universe mix-ups. It's not just the fact that there are a lot of things of one fictional universe that would have conflicts with that of the other, but also the fact that people don't seem to understand well about one of the universes they're trying to mix. You have to know and understand the entirety of it, if not at the least the most important things of it. For instance, if you try digging deeper into the Star Wars universe, and I mean considering those numerous non-LucasArts-made Expanded Universe works as canon, you'd know that the Force can do a lot more than just giving life, telekinesis, telepathy, and destruction. I mean, a HELL LOT of stuff that you can't imagine it can do.
  7. I'm glad that's dealt with. Obviously, true. They couldn't also replace the blown-up part with the one from the DeLorean in the cave because: 1. They might mess up something there when they try to, and 2. The part, if removed, may not have a replacement part available in 1955. Hmm, never thought of that. Doc and his family, did (or do) live somewhere away from old west Hill Valley making sure they don't mess up anything else in the timeline as both shouldn't be in that era in the first place.
  8. Uh, no, none at the moment. This is the reason why I'm looking for a Mac OS X PC alternative in the first place. Until there are a lot of Mac software sold that don't have and wouldn't have a Windows version (not because the software developers are lazy but because the software needs something that OS X has and Windows doesn't), no one sees the need to make a Mac emulator for Windows and Linux.
  9. My workplace is always clean and organized. I'm just using a laptop after all. But I do get messy when I do stuff like making comics or doing my multimedia arts homework.
  10. LOL A crane would attract more attention. Doc would prefer a bit more "low profile" as much as possible. He doesn't like people to interfere with the plan of sending Marty back home.
  11. For onboard graphics like Intel, upgrading the RAM and CPU helps A LOT (just a tip I wanna share).
  12. SHINY. That's one decent case, probably one of the few most decent case I've seen so far. Most of the custom cases I've seen before are either crap or too awful to even look at. lol awesome.
  13. I LOVE Garageband...and miss using it, too. Been searching for ways to make the OS X work on my laptop without screwing something up, and found this "iPC OS X". I hope it is the one. When did Garageband become un-free?
  14. iMaster: I agree, but there are sites that have a bit different view on copyright compared to the more strict (and secure) YouTube. None of your business. In case you're wondering, my ex-bestfriend was worth mentioning because of the numerous "rips" he had done so far with YouTube vids.
  15. There are two reasons I can provide: 1. They rushed to catch up for the train and "borrow" it. Yeah, they have the locomotive and all, so why wouldn't they just wait for a little longer to re-check things like if they got the distance right, how Doc should hop from the train to the DeLorean safely, etc.? You may also wanna ask this question, too: Wouldn't you think those people who boarded the train would just do nothing about what just happened? 2. Doc wanted the time machine destroyed because of all the trouble it made. Logically, staying in 1885 would just cause more trouble -- the most likely thing that was in Doc's mind at that time. @iMaster: Doc may have probably put a fake tombstone there, making sure Marty from 1955 sees it and travels back to 1885 to rescue him. After all, he remained in 1885 up to 1895 when presumably he finished the Jules Verne Train. He had more than enough time to have the fake tombstone made and placed in the graveyard.
  16. I myself use both Audacity and Adobe Soundbooth CS4. Both are good for sound-editing.
  17. If it ain't custom-built, just posting the name and the specs would do fine.
  18. The wire would be too heavy for the plane to carry, let alone hook it up there by itself.
  19. My bad. It's wormhole emitter, not wormhole projector. *Corrected previous post* Blue/Del and the guys have been using this term since, especially for modeling/coding matters.
  20. If there is an Invision Board-style facepalm emoticon available, we would indeed have it.
  21. His major inventions didn't, but his minor inventions did. Notice those contraptions inside Doc's 1985 home? Though they are not that hard to make for an inventor, it shows that Doc can still invent something that works, just that he needs a few more research and stuff , and most of all inspiration and interest over the subject, to make it so. I mean, in BTTF1, Doc tried inventing a device that read people's minds. Sure, the thing on Doc's head is huge, but you'll need more than just a small "plug" on the target's (the person he'll mind-read) head to achieve tech-based telepathy.
  22. It's called the wormhole emitter, a term we've been using for the "box on the roof" ever since. Not exactly. If you look closer, those flames are not really coming from the tires themselves. I reckon they're a type of exhaust, but I recall Blue saying they're for something else. This is the reason why in the SA version the tire flames seem to coming from the bottom of the DeLorean just behind the tires, not from the tires themselves. And they're more like tons of sparks fired to the ground than flames. (Taken from BTTF3. Try looking for other scenes of the DeLorean initializing time travel, and you'll see the same thing.) Wormholes are not made up of matter to be able to have temperature (only matter can have temperature), therefore they're neither cold nor hot, but the absence of heat energy outside space-time would explain the cold effect. When the car exits space-time, the heat energy of its outer shell "escapes", turning extremely cold. Only those outside that are warmer enough would remain warm, but their temperature would decrease still. Once it returns back to space-time (wherever part of space-time that is), water vapor would react to the extremely cold shell of the car, turning from vapor to ice. So there 'ya go, a "frozen DeLorean" (or frozen-in-ice DeLorean). I still believe that the blue stuff being "projected" or fired to the front of the DeLorean is not the wormhole (yet). It's an active blue plasma of some kind that, when dense enough, can tear through the fabric of space-time and create a wormhole. Wormholes are in reality colorless and, most especially, can't emit light, and they close or "get patched up" very quickly. I'm guessing need for the speed of 88 mph was to make sure the DeLorean gets to the wormhole before it closes. Doc had to program it so that the wormhole opens only when the DeLorean reaches 88. Even without speeding up, I believe the wormhole can still be created.
  23. One of the benefits of being rich. If you're talking about BTTF3, the 1955 Doc probably thought that he didn't need that much fuel to bring his future self back home. I mean, he filled the entire tank with fuel, which is more than enough. What would he want or need to waste that much fuel for in 1885?
