  1. It's been a while, I am not as active as I was once before, but now and then I drop by to see the progress on this mod. I mean, I've been following this mod a long time, but I just don't post much so my e-p*nis here isn't big. :P

Thereby, I completely understand Mike for taking his time, since this is a hobby and not a job or something. Some people have a life you know, deal with it.

And now I just wanted to say thank you to the creators/contributors of this mod. You guys are doing a great job! Keep it up. :)

So far my yearly post...

  2. I was thinking of the future, when I do upgrade to 7 (once the official release has been out for awhile).

Or for now, you can download the beta. :) The programs that didn't work on Vista now all work on 7.

Plus you payed for a mother board that can max to a certain ram. You want to get your moneys worth. Mine can max to 8GB. Eventually I'll do it.

I hope you don't mean the close future, because that would be a waste of money. :P (Don't know if 'close future' is correct, but you know what I mean).

  3. Cool! But one question: Why 6GB of RAM? 4GB is waaay enough. :P And you say you maybe are going to use XP? In that case is 6 and 4GB RAM useless, since XP only recognizes 3GB (maybe less or more, don't know the exact amount). Also I would buy a HD4890 instead of a 4870. Or you can wait untill Ati launches the new HD5xxx series, so the HD4xxx series get cheaper. :)

    Fancy keyboard btw.

  4. Wait wth... Everything is great except the IDE HDD.

That's a fail indeed, use a SATA HDD! :P And it isn't correct. The most 1366 socket motherboards don't even have a IDE connector. :S But your motherboard has one. xD Also, why 1 external and 2 internal DVD burners?

  5. Yup, like what you said before my previous post.

This is also the reason why you see poor people in 1955 cars and rich people at 2015 ones (if I get it right).

Right, so in this way it is possible to make peds for different timezones, am i right? :) (I'm not trying to push you guys, and I know it isn't gonna be in 0.2f or something close to that, I'm just asking).

  6. im surprised nobodys leapt out of their chairs at me yelling "FOURTEEN WHAT THE F*** YOU MUST BE SERIOUSLY MESSED UP BY NOW" thats usually the response i get when i tell people (on the internet, not in real life. because to people in my country 14 isnt that uncommon) when i first had sex. glad i dont have to explain myself

Honestly, I don't think it is that weird. And like iProton said: we are polite!

  7. I was just saying... it wouldn't... and technically, i'm just saying things for the younger kids like bttftempex if he reads this... i remember thinking was possible when i was 14. Wanna make sure sure they dont do something stupid... plus i want the posts for ranking...

If you're 13/14 years old and you're really thinking of doing that, than you are NUTS imo.

  8. i d get a 9600 graphics card it has 64 streaming cores and works for me on nearly high settings (mine has 512mb of vram)

Depends what games you play. I bet you can't get GTA IV on very high with your 9600. :P

for 4 gb of memory since the mobo ur looking at has 4 ddr2 slots try get 4 1gb sticks.

Fail! It's better to run 2x2GB in Dual Channel. ;)

  9. You don't need 1GB of VRAM for playing on a "20. Instead of spending money on the VRAM get a graphics card with higher clocks. ;)

Also I wouldn't pick a Raidmax power supply, go for a better name like Coolermaster or something.

And the processor isn't very good, it has only 4MB L2 cache, so that's 1MB cache for each core. And Quad-core isn't really necesarry unless you play the latest games on very very high or you render a lot of videos. I would take this or that one.
