It's been a while, I am not as active as I was once before, but now and then I drop by to see the progress on this mod. I mean, I've been following this mod a long time, but I just don't post much so my e-p*nis here isn't big. Thereby, I completely understand Mike for taking his time, since this is a hobby and not a job or something. Some people have a life you know, deal with it. And now I just wanted to say thank you to the creators/contributors of this mod. You guys are doing a great job! Keep it up. So far my yearly post...

Or for now, you can download the beta. The programs that didn't work on Vista now all work on 7. I hope you don't mean the close future, because that would be a waste of money. (Don't know if 'close future' is correct, but you know what I mean).

Cool! But one question: Why 6GB of RAM? 4GB is waaay enough. And you say you maybe are going to use XP? In that case is 6 and 4GB RAM useless, since XP only recognizes 3GB (maybe less or more, don't know the exact amount). Also I would buy a HD4890 instead of a 4870. Or you can wait untill Ati launches the new HD5xxx series, so the HD4xxx series get cheaper. Fancy keyboard btw.

That's a fail indeed, use a SATA HDD! And it isn't correct. The most 1366 socket motherboards don't even have a IDE connector. :S But your motherboard has one. xD Also, why 1 external and 2 internal DVD burners?

LOL I saw part 1 of the tutorial ages ago on Youtube. I didn't know it was yours! Very nice locomotives and Del! And a very epic train explosion XD Nicely done.

How about replacing the Mr. Whoopee music thingy? Or is that hard coded?

Did you know that the sparks you see when time travelling, were newspapers?

I thought there were some leaves and briefs (if you destroy a mailbox) left to use for particles.

Do you always type the comment above the quote?

Honestly, I don't think it is that weird. And like iProton said: we are polite!

I was referring to the fact that he thought this was possible at the age of 14.

If you're 13/14 years old and you're really thinking of doing that, than you are NUTS imo.

Mmh, I thougt there was a chamber where Chell says her name. But maybe I'm wrong.

Depends what games you play. I bet you can't get GTA IV on very high with your 9600. Fail! It's better to run 2x2GB in Dual Channel.

You don't need 1GB of VRAM for playing on a "20. Instead of spending money on the VRAM get a graphics card with higher clocks. Also I wouldn't pick a Raidmax power supply, go for a better name like Coolermaster or something. And the processor isn't very good, it has only 4MB L2 cache, so that's 1MB cache for each core. And Quad-core isn't really necesarry unless you play the latest games on very very high or you render a lot of videos. I would take this or that one.

I can understand that last one is kinda shokking if you're religious. (I'm not religious btw).

Actually you do hear the voice of the Portal girl ingame. It's when you are in one of the testchambers. It is pre-recorded and the girl says her name then.

Nope never seen them. And for the car colors, I would make him black with orange, but I don't know if the colors are supposed to match with something from the Space Odessy movies so I could be very wrong here.
