The Doc Posted December 9, 2008 Posted December 9, 2008 Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep, and Plymouth are all the same company. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 yeah i know, but chrysler started selling here before dodge did. Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 KITT, does Ford Sell Lincoln's and Mercury's in Australia? Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 I was wondering why you never bought a Lincoln because Lincolns are pretty much Ford's here except with more "chrome". Honda and Acura are the same and my dad bought a couple Honda's now he bought an Acura. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 even if they sold them here we wouldn't buy one. American fords suck. Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) American Fords are terrible sometimes, but they are getting better, I've seen my friend's grandma's Chevy Monte Carlo, it was rear ended by a American 2008 Ford Focus and the Monte Carlo was ruined badly while the Focus didn't even get a dent. Unlike Statler's Ford Focus except that was probably a one generation behind Focus. Edited December 10, 2008 by The Doc Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 even the american Ford Focus sucks compared to the european one US: EU: Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 KITT always has to critisize the American Fords, at least the American 2008 Ford Expedition's and 2008 Explorer's and the 2004-2009 Ford F-150's are good. Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 (edited) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clFUe-RJRA8 This is the Chevy, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tazz14AguB0...feature=related This is the Focus, I exagerated it didn't get a dent, but look at the hood. This isn't my youtube channel by the way. Is the 2008 Taurus a bad American Ford? Edited December 10, 2008 by The Doc Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 i only like the SVT F-150 Lightning. i hate SUVs, with a few exceptions. like this, the Ford Territory EDIT: i didnt know they were re-releasing the taurus but oh dear ugly...... that is terrible. i have no idea if it drives well though Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 You like the Ford Territory? To me it looks a little too Much like a Ford Taurus X so it's ugly. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 looks nothing like a Ford Taurus X. its an SUV version of the BA Ford Falcon. built on the same chassis Quote
The Doc Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 It's a terrible idea to turn a sedan into a SUV, are you sure it's not a wagon? Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 it drives like one. besides, the Mitsubishi Outlander is built on the Lancer's chassis. its a great idea. the Territory is extremely popular here, it drives VERY well, handles like a car with the practicality of an SUV. It even does ok off road Quote
raybob Posted December 10, 2008 Posted December 10, 2008 Funny, I've heard of Ford but the only other place I've ever seen or heard of a Ford Falcon in in Gran Turismo 4. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 10, 2008 Author Posted December 10, 2008 thats because it's an Australian car, they dont sell it in the US or Europe. Quote
Ronnyboy Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 I like it, but the single exhaust just makes it look a bit, un even. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 11, 2008 Author Posted December 11, 2008 im betting at least 95% of cars have a single exhaust. looks fine to me Quote
Joe Statler Posted December 11, 2008 Posted December 11, 2008 hey at least the exhaust is chrome. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 on wheels it is. on body parts, its great Quote
The Doc Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 Doesn't KITT 3000 have chrome wheels or I saw a pic of KITT 3000 with chrome rims on . Quote
Ronnyboy Posted December 12, 2008 Posted December 12, 2008 I just find that dual exhaust with chrome makes things seem more even and they give more of an aggressive look. Quote
K.I.T.T. Posted December 12, 2008 Author Posted December 12, 2008 chrome wheels dont always look bad. depends on the car and the wheels. on K3000, they look good Quote
