Rave what I meant by generic modeling, was like houses that have no meaning and you know maybe a few buildings in the court house square as early betas of the court house square. Stuff like that, if that's ok. If you need images of my work, I have a topic. Just search my name and you're bound to find it.

well you know what I mean, like if you have a part of hill valley that's not shown in the movie, what do you think?

I'm not exactly worried about hill valley at the moment ,more worried about time travel and things

Wow, I leave for a few hours to fix my internet, and all hell breaks loose. As the mod team leader, let me straighten out a few things real quick:

@Stexturer: No, you are not joining our team. Hate to say it, but we don't need your already horrible reputation smudging our great mod's name. Sorry.

@Mr. Kocher: Thanks for the offer, but we don't need your abilities right now. We may look for a modeler/mapper in the future, but we don't need one right now.

To anyone else that is interested in helping us, a modeler/mapper is really all we need, but not until much later. If any would like to apply for the position, please provide screenshots and videos of your work in GTA III. I say GTA III, because we need to know that any potential candidates have an understanding of the GTA III map and what is takes to edit that map.

Now, to indulge viewers with another video. This one is just a video showing more of the flying time-machine. Rave felt it was necessary, and I agreed. Enjoy!

The cars? Not yet, but we aren't planning to release anything until we do. Thank you for reminding me DK. I'll be contacting Carlos about the cars soon. As far as the Clock tower goes, it is not in the mod at the moment because we have had some map issues with Chico's model. So, no clock tower as of yet.

Damn man, if you're having trouble with modeling, Chico is bound to be able to fix it. He's one of the beast next to Liam.

You forgot Carlos. Both him and Liam are the best.

Carlos is the best for cars and Liam is the best buildings as long as you don't ask for Gargoyles XD

I didn't "forget" Carlos. He just kinda slipped my mind, as we have been busy working on the mod... Don't worry, we will be getting his permission to use the cars before we release any kind of beta.

EDIT: I just messaged him and am awaiting a response. Would be glad to post his response when I get it.

GTA III? One of the most unmodable R* games ever! :huh:

Good luck trying to get new maps and models into the game with its "even more poorer than VC" Collision poly, Model poly lighting and the list goes on... limits!

I'm all for retro but this mod is a definate no from me.

Well I know Carlos is definetly a wonderful modeller, but yes I was refering to a modeller who I've seen do buildings.

How can you say "unmoddable"? We have videos proving we can do it. As for the buildings, we HAD the clocktower in game, we just decided to remove it for now. Don't worry Orgcon, we can do it.

im probably gonna release another video soon, showing some upgrades to the TT script. eventually we will get stuff done, im on school holidays for 2 1/2 weeks now so ill be able to get a lot of stuff done

Got your message, Ziero. As I read in your previous post, you were going to post my answer, so I'm saving you that extra work by writing it here already :P.

As much nice as it looks, I'd like to know about the direction of the mod before granting any permission. I mean, is it just a GTA:3 port of BTTF:HV? or, what do you want to achieve with it? I don't want to bash any work made by you or your team, but just to know more about its story, features and purpose.

I ask this because I know these particular models are getting really overused since they went ported to a game other than MM2 and, well, each modder makes with it what they want.

Anyway, I don't have GTA:3, so tell us more about the mod :D.

well, personally i dont want it to be a complete port of BTTF:HV, i want this to be a sort of addon, i want it to be at least up to 0.2e's stage when we are finished, im not sure but i think Ziero has other ideas
