Evil Morning Operator Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 (edited) Did ya guys see this: http://www.moddb.com/mods/gta-knight-research-old-school :S EDIT: I see you already did. Hmm, well they stealed your stuff atleast, some of the models. Edited January 21, 2010 by Evil Morning Operator Quote
Mike Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 The models are Tobie's, so they are free to use them in their mod, assuming they have permission from Tobie to use them. Quote
Mike Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I have no idea if they do have or don't have permission, and to be honest, I'm not particularly bothered, it's up to them to ensure they have permission for anything they release. I'm not getting involved in any arguements over the two different KR mod teams, all I want to do is make some progress on the our mod. You guys can expect the first source code release within the next week though. Quote
Kid Buu Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 I've got a question for the red colored administrator: What kind of enjoyment should I expect from future releases? If it is lots should I or should I not install Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas? Also, what kind of features should I be expecting and is there any crashing? Thank you for your time. Quote
Mike Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 @ the kid, see the link in this post: http://www.bttfhillvalley.co.uk/forum/inde...ost&p=48924 full details for the next version are outlined there. Quote
Kid Buu Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Sorry administrator of this modification for Grand Theft Auto San Andreas, you did not tell me if I would enjoy this modification or not. Please comply or I will not be able to play. Quote
Mike Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Not a mind reader, only way to find out is to try it isn't it. Quote
Dave27 Posted January 22, 2010 Posted January 22, 2010 I like it duno about you kid. Is there any chance of a feature in this mod to help the main cars stay on their wheels or to flip the car if on their roofs. I keep rolling kitt and then it explodes duhhh sucks to be me Quote
Evil Morning Operator Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 I forgot the controls >.< Could somebody send me them? Quote
Ziero Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 @E.M.O.: There is a readme... @Dave: Which car are you using? And if you are using a car that can transform, try that. @ the Kid: I cannot say whether or not you will like it, but I can say that I played for about 3 hours straight with no crash, and no one else should either, assuming Mike (or someone else) fixed the limits problem... Mike Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 What's strange is that it only seems to affect Windows XP users, and what's even stranger, is that it's only a handful of XP users. Mini-Me and DK can run it perfectly and they are both on XP. The fix is up in the download section on gta kr anyway. Quote

CJ O'Hummer Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 Nice work! In comparison with the original intro, I have to say, the GTA version is much better. Quote
RG Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 I respectfully disagree. In the original intro, the camera doesn't shake around the car, and the intro was made with the help of computer, thus making it look way better than any video made in some sandbox game. This video is really good though, would be the perfect intro if the mod was only about the new series. Quote
iMaster Posted February 13, 2010 Posted February 13, 2010 The video is good if you don't notice the obvious, like: A) The HUD. Dammit. The fact that the editing line of movement is broken, the car faces different directions without proper transitions C) The video and audio seem to be extremely desynced D) The video shows only a handful of angles, which gives no thrill.
