carloscarlin Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 i look good except the wheels of the wagon Quote
Mike Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 DK are the wheels meant to be made of wood or iron? Quote
Mike Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I think it may look better using the wood texture from the center of the truck. FYI, if you look at this picture closely, you can see the wheel has an iron rim. This must be common for the time, in fact my grandfathers steam wagon (which was built in 1905), has wooden wheels with iron rims. Quote
♠Grim♂ Reaper 1666◙ Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 the iron rims work like tyres do on cars and they strengthen the wood wheels Quote
Mike Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Not really like tires, they don't have much grip, and the iron rim isn't to strengthen the wheels, it's more to stop vibration shaking them to pieces Quote
bastien Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Oh my god But after the Delorean will go in the water? Quote

Fishy-Fish Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Did you see a turntable in the film? I'm doing the 'End of Track' sign. Remember when Doc told Marty to switch the track so after they "borrowed" the train? Then he told those 2 guys to "uncouple us from the tender" or something like that? Quote
Mike Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Remember when Doc told Marty to switch the track so after they "borrowed" the train? Then he told those 2 guys to "uncouple us from the tender" or something like that? Are you for real? The tender is the back of the train, where the wood was, and the actual quote was "uncouple the cars from the tender", cars = train carriages Quote
Fishy-Fish Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Hey, I haven't seen the movie in a while. So SORRY if I offended Quote
