poor man's? The delorean brand new is $57,000US. A Trans-Am is what, at least $22,000US (if they were still making them).

That'd be funny to see, a DeLorean with a Firebird on the hood. I think I'll make it myself.

Now if Pontiac was making new units for the Trans Am, it would most likely be more than 57,000.

its actually pretty sad that my car, with a 2.0L L4 completely stock, has more horsepower than an '82 Trans Am with a 5.0L V8

It would still cost a lot. After all, Pontiac would have to have a small line dedicated to the car and make the classic parts. Plus they know KR fans would want it and jack up the price even more.

I was basing my estimate off the 1995 Trans-Am low end model. Then it was $17,000US.
