Marty: Wait a minute. Wait a minute Doc, uh, are you telling me you built a time machine... out of a DeLorean? Doc Brown: The way I see it, if you're going to build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?

You're all full of it! The 'Vents' are vents in BTTF1, they expel the dangerous toxic gasses such as hydrogen sulphate and a few others (not steam), given of by the nuclear reaction of such an unstable (synthetic) element 'Plutonium'! Hence why, when the vents go off during the first experiment, doc stops and leans back to avoid inhalation! In BTTF2 the Nuclear Reaction Chamber is removed, and replaced with a Cold Fusion Chamber (Cold fusion is the (safe) reaction and production of useable stable energy at 0°C/40°F, that doesn't expel dangerous toxic gasses!) Therefore the Vents aren't needed for the reaction chamber, as all energy given of is used, and all by-products (such as Hydrogen, Oxygen, Nitrogen and Carbon) are recycled. Instead the Vents are now used as rocket boosters to propel the Del forwards any gas given off is most likely Carbon based and non-visible.

I know, the following was already said about three weeks ago, but there's something I want to say to: QUOTE (October 21 2015 @ Jan 31 2010, 04:05 PM) it was a cold fusion QUOTE (Timecircuits @ Jan 31 2010, 04:30 PM) it's produced cold air and that has to go somewhere to. My opinion is that COLD fusion doesn't mean ICE COLD fusion, it just means that it doesn't go beyond a certain temperature. So why should there be cold air anyway? Or even condensation?

@007: The guys weren't asking for vent steam to be coded for the Part 2 De Lorean. I'll take two #9s, a #9 large, a #6 with extra dip, a #7, two #45s, one with cheese, and a LARGE soda...

QUOTE (angeloelibz24 @ Mar 4 2010, 07:02 PM) Looks like another cool idea for a BTTF SA edit. I totally agree with you about that. So Blue, if you read that: make Carl Johnson lose energy when he gets too close to the steam.

I already had that too, but dumb as I am sometimes, I forgot it . How about making CJ cough as well (like when he's in the extinguisher's carbon cloud)?

yep that's great. so the vents should be turned into extinguishers

I guess you got the wrong point of my opinion, What I meant was that the steam should "cause" the same "troubles" as that stuff that comes out of any extinguisher.
