Well, back to what I said.

There is a way to get it to appear to glow and that is to create a second layer over the already existing coils and apply an alpha to it.

Ok, better pic

I think what could be done is apply a gradient to the coils where the center is white and the edges are a bit bluer.

EDIT: Did they remaster it? o_o

I think I was going for this one...

Can you not stick a few coronas behind the Neon so that you can't see them, but you can still see a bit of there aura? huh.gif

Like what you did with the "Fugly" one you did but hide the coronas wink.gif

You'll see it behind the coils.

I'd rather keep the current setup and leave the coronas stuff to the VC mod.

Um, if you want Blue I can help with the neon glow because I made the neon glows for the downtown model. The gradient will be easy smile.gif

Comment before watching:
lol, the carcols thing?

Comment afterwards:
Yep, was that thing.

Yes, that looks better than 0.2c's way of doing it.

Small test

Need to remodel the lit coils though. Since they're the same size as the old coils, they conflict with each other. I solved it in this video by resizing, but its still noticible when you actually play it, since the resize isn't perfect.

I can prelight it in 3ds, but it doesn't export correctly, so meh. This is good enough for now.

Moving on to wormhole i guess.

I didn't notice the keypad sounds when testing 0.1.2, and thought you removed them, or d'you mean such ones like the confirmation or error sound?

there were sounds. Maybe it didn't copy for you.

Anyway, tweaked the coil glows to only light up the mesh. Looks much better imo.

And now I really need to model the lit coil mesh over the old coil rather then resize, because resize is causing some meshing errors.
