What platform of Windows are you running?

Oh, and by the way, this type of question should probably be posted in the Off Topic section of the forum.

Did you run the BTTF HV SA installer as administrator and in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3?

If you don't know, check this folder on your PC:

C:\Users\**Your User Name**\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program FIles (x86)

If you are a 64-bit user

Or

C:\Users\**Your User Name**\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program FIles

If you are a 32-bit user.

If you see a "GTA San Andreas" folder in that directory, it means that you didn't run the installer as administrator.

Then, Uninstall GTA San Andreas, delete the GTA San Andreas folder in the VirtualStore\Program Files directory, and reinstall, making sure you run all programs as administrator.

I went into the VirtualStore folder and there is nothing in there, and no i didn't run the BTTF_SA_0.1.3.2_Setup as admin or XP SP3.

Well, re-install anyway. It can't hurt.

Try to run both the SA installer and the HV installer as admin then. You might have to cancel autorun and run the SA installer as administrator from your SA DVD directory.

And by the way, this does work for San Andreas right? Because maybe thats the problem?

Correct.

The BTTF_SA_0.1.3.2_Setup works for SA.

The 0.2e Setup works for VC.

alright then ill use BTTF_SA_0.1.3.2_Setup both admin and SP3 and get back to you

Make sure you start with a fresh copy of SA, not the modded one.

Ok so i reinstaslled SA as admin SP3 and that went fine, but before i go to put in the BTTF mod, i checked the VirtualStore and there isn't anything in there, is that a good sign?

It still wont work, after instaling the game i did the BTTF instalation. then i deleted the cleo file and imported the source contents into there proper places and i still get the error.

For some reason, leaving the SA DVD in the drive while installing this mod messed my installation up. Did you happen to do that?

Ya i left the disk in the dvd drive as i installed the mod
