Member Rules, Guidelines, and Agreement

[section 1: Member Agreement]

Considering the real-time nature of this bulletin board, it is impossible for us to review messages or confirm the validity of information posted. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the contents of posted messages and are not responsible for any messages posted. We do not vouch for or warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any message, and are not responsible for the contents of any message. The messages express the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of BTTF Hill Valley or any entity associated with this BB. Any user who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to contact us immediately by email. We have the ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise violative of any law. You agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or by BTTF Hill Valley, or you have permission to do so, or you give full credit to the original author of said material.

Although BTTF Hill Valley does not and cannot review the messages posted and is not responsible for the content of any of these messages, we at BTTF Hill Valley reserve the right to delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever. You remain solely responsible for the content of your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless BTTF Hill Valley, Invision (the makers of the bulletin board software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon transmission of your message(s).

BTTF Hill Valley also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

Please note that advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are inappropriate on this BB.

[section 2: General Guidelines]

When posting messages

· Do not use excessive profanity

· Do not flame, attack, or abuse other members of the forums

· Feel free to interact with any of our members, and join in on conversations of interest

· Request help when needed, and don't be afraid to contact a Moderator or Administrator

· Do not display p**nographic activity. Any type of nudity will not be tolerated

. Do not bump topics more than 10 days old. Unless it's an on-going topic. You must add relevant discussion to warrant the bump. (Example: Story Line)

When quoting other messages

· Do not quote a post directly before yours

· Remove that parts of the quote that are not relevant for your answer

=> Make the quote as short as possible. If the previous post is long and misunderstandings might occur if you don't quote the relevant part, the first rule can of course be omitted

When making signatures

· Keep picture sizes below 150 pixels height by 550 pixels width

· Supported image formats: .gif, .jpg, .bmp

· You may have up to 4 pictures in your signature as long as they follow the size rule

· Keep text to a maximum amount of 4 lines

· Do not flame, attack, or abuse other members in your signature

· Do not use excessive profanity or vulgarity

· Do not post illegal links to torrents, pirated games, or other similar links.

· Do not display p**nographic activity. Any type of nudity will not be tolerated.

When encountering trouble or problems

· Please contact a moderator if you encounter trouble in a thread

· Do not solve arguments on your own. Please contact a moderator to help out

· If you have any problems with the site, please contact a moderator or admin to help
